The story of the Greatest Immortal Taoist begins in the Moonlight Dust Pavilion where child named Hickbess has become 14 of age

He is a young boy with red hair and is despised by his fellow brothers who are jealous of his red hair. Red hair signifies that a student is one of the Top Ten Great Disciples of the Pavilion. Once A disciple is strong enough the elders dye their hair Red to show their importance. Hicksbess being born with naturally red hair, his fellow disciples hate him because of his weakness even though he has red hair

"Happy 14th birthday you pathetic fool."

Hicksbess gets out of his bed and prepare for today's training. As he is putting on his clothes he hears a large explosion. He runs out of his shack of a home and runs in the direction of the explosion. He finds himself at the border of the Pavilion where he is not supposed to be. The explosion sound he heard come from outside the Pavilion.

He stands there disappointed that he will not be able to find the source of the explosion. As he walks away he hears a whisper and looks back. He runs back to the border curious as to what the sound was

"Who's there? I will give you 5 seconds to come out and if you don't I will destroy this area"

He sounds brave but in his mind he knows he isn't even able to destroy a boulder

*thinking* "What the hell am I doing I can't destroy anything, maybe some grass"

A voice appears from nowhere

(Voice)

{Hello}

Hicksbess turns around as he hears the voice behind him. Nobody is there

(Hicksbess)

"Don't try to scare me, when I find you I will destroy you"

(Voice)

{Haha, I can see your power you aren't even worthy to speak to me child}

(Hicksbess)

"How dare you do you know who I a-"

(Voice)

{Shut up}

Hicksbess freezes and a chill runs down his spine. He is scared out of his mind and can't even think since he is focused on the voice

{Child I know you are struggling with your cultivation, I can help you}

Hicksbess' face lights up he isn't as scared but is still weary

(Hicksbess)

"Can you really help m-"

(Voice)

{Have I not told you to silence yourself}

Hicksbess once again freezes out of fear but this time there is a huge pressure on him as if the gravity got heavier

Hicksbess collapses after enduring this pressure for so long but he manages to ask

The pressure suddenly increases and Hicksbess is now laying face down on the floor almost on the verge of tears

Hicksbess goes closer into the light till he is in the center. He looks around in vain and sees nothing.

The voice doesn't reply but a crumbling of a stick is heard

Hicksbess is stone cold he has never faced a demon beast before. A spiked hamster can kill 5 adults and since he is a Qi-Gathering Layer 1 he has no chance of winning. In the whole of the Moonlight Dust Pavilion he is known as the weakest disciple
