Found a job!

*two days later

The weekend came soon and Y/n got ready. She waited for Taehyung to come out.

When it comes to going out and fashion, Taehyung is very picky. He takes a lot more time.

"Taehyung-ahhh, hurry up." Jin shouted.

"Coming!!" He shouted and came out.

Everyone were just looking at him like never before.

"Yahh... we are going for a summer trip. And it's just a beach. Don't you think you are too overdressed?" Y/n asked looking at him.

"Why would you wear a full pant instead of a three-fourth? We are not going for model shooting." Hoseok said.

"Just wear a normal shirt and a short. And one cooling glss is enough. Not a bag." Namjoon said.

"Wait. Do you wanna come to the beach like that?" She asked him.

"I don't know. It'll be suuny, and I'll sweat. But I like this style. Do I want my style to be good or should I not sweat... I'll change and come. Just 5 mins." He said and ran to his room.

He soon came out from the room and they all left. Jin drove the car.

Y/n sat at the back along with Jungkook. She was reading the newspaper while Jungkook was drawing something.

Suddenly, what Yoongi said yesterday, struck her mind.

'What is my interest?' She started thinking.

She thought if she would like the other guy's job.

She started with Jin's, cooking.

'Cooking. I can't really cook and it's too late to learn. Next, piano. Playing music.... No way. Only Yoongi can do that. Next..... English.. I and english are far from each other. Art, I suck. Singing.... my voice is too hoarse to sing. I myself can't hear me sing. Fashion designer...' She thought and looked at her dressing style.

'My fashion is so lame than what Namjoon is wearing. Gosh! I suck at everything. Y/n, think. Think. What could the ideal job for you be?' She asked herself.

She thought and thought, but nothing really came to her mind. Jungkook who looked at her, into deep thinking, called her.

"What are you thinking soo much about?"

"A perfect job." She said and thought.

"Y/n, you are here now to enjoy. Don't think about it and enjoy the holiday." He said and she nodded and let the thought free.

They reached the beach and Jin parked the car.

They slowly got down and stretched themselves. They all felt the breeze hit on their faces.

"Let's go." Yoongi said and they started walking.

Y/n walked slowly, while the others were ahead of her.

A guy approached to her and put his shoulder around her. She was startled.

"Who the hell are you?" She asked and shook his hand off her.

"Are you free? How about we go out for dinner?" He asked.

"You want dinner? Here." She said and punched him, right in his face. His nose was bleeding. He was holding on to his nose, in pain.

She looked at him and walked away, smiling and feeling satisfied.

She reached with the guys and they sat down and looked at the view. Y/n enjoyed it a lot.

"Ice cream?" namjoon asked.

"I'll also come with you.'' Y/n said and walked with him.

They bought them and soon came back and they all had their favourites. Y/n walked and had her ice cream. Suddenly, a guy pushed Y/n's hand and her ice-cream fell.

"What th-" Before she could say, the guy held her hand and pulled her closer.

"Let me go." She said, trying to get off from his hold.

"Not until I get you." He said and smirked. She tried her best but she couldn't.

Suddenly, he fell down. Y/n turned and saw the other guys were there.

Yoongi and Jungkook started hitting him, while the others asked if she was ok.

"Who is he?" Namjoon asked.

"Moreugesso. While coming also he put his hand on my shoulder and asked me for dinner. I punched him in the face." Taehyung and Hoseok laughed at her cute braveness.

"If we see you again near her, you'll see the your life." Jungkook and the guy ran away.

"Let's go." Y/n said and they were going ahead of her. Y/n walked slowly, thinking about something.

She didn't realise where she was walking and stepped on a small kid's sandcastle.

"Omo! I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to do that." She said and kneeled down. The girl looked sad.

"I'll help you build a new one." Y/n said. Her face lit up. Y/n sat down with her and helped her make the sandcastle.

Meanwhile, the boys were walking and realised that Y/n wasn't with them, as they reached the car.

"Where is she?" Jin asked.

"She came with us." Jimin said. They all ran back. They thought that, the guy would have kidnapped her. They all ran wildly in search of her.

Taehyung suddenly stopped running. The others saw Taehyung loking at something at headed to him and saw where his eyes went.

They all were relieved. They saw Y/n building a sandcastle with a small kid. They all smiled at it.

"Go bring her." Yoongi said. Jimin went.

"Y/n." He called her.

"Oh, Jimin. Eun, this is Jimin, my friend." She said to the small kid.

"Nice to meet you oppa. Oppa, you should be really lucky to have a friend like unnie." Eun said.

"I am. Now Y/n, we have to leave." He said.

"Ok Eun. See you some other time. Bye!!" She said and smiled. Eun bid goodbye and they left.

In the car, Y/n felt happy the Jimin noticed it.

"Looks like you had a nice time with Eun." He said.

"Ne. I did. She was really sweet." She said, rewinding the time she was with her.

"Y/n, if you really had a great time with her, you could be a care-taker. Or a kindergarten teacher." Jimin said.

She started thinking.

"I'll see." She said and put on her headphones and listened to music.

They reached home soon and they did their work. Y/n went to her room and started searching for jobs like Jimin said.

She scrolled through her phone and looked at the laptop, simultaniously. She noted down few addresses and their contact number.

"Tomorrow, I'll go check these out. I hope I'd get into one." She sighed and put it aside and lay down after the hectic day.

*next day

Y/n got up and showered and headed out carrying her sling bag, happily.

"Where are you going?" Taehyung asked, noticing her.

"To find a job." She said and took a bit of the apple she took from Jungkook's hand.

"Did you find out what your interest was?" Yoongi asked.

"Kids." She said. They all looked confused.

"Are you gonna.... give...."

"ANI!! What even made you think like that? I said, to look after kids. Like Jimin said yesterday, kindergarten." She said.

"Oh ok." He said, relieved.

"All the best!" They all shouted.

"Thank you." She smiled and went.

"I hope she gets the job." Taehyung said and sat down next to Jimin.

"Yeah. So let's get going." Jin said and they all got ready.

"I'll get down with Jimin. I promised him I'll play the piano for his song." Jin nodded and they left.

Y/n's POV

I walked and entered the coffee shop I worked first at. I got myself a coffee and headed to the first destination.

I entered and it was quite huge. The area was filled with kids sound.

"How may I help you?" A lady asked.

"Um.. I'm here for a job. I went through your website and I saw that there was a need for a child teacher. So, is there any available?" I asked eagerly.

"I'm really sorry ma'am, that spot has been taken by someone else."

"It's ok. Thank you." I said and came out. I striked it out and headed to the next.

I asked the same thing but there also someone had taken. I striked that out too. I had three more places to go.

"Hello, is there any-" before I could say, that guy cut me and said,

"We are really busy now. Please come by later." And he left.

What busy work do you have to look after a kid? Isn't he doing too much? I shrugged and headed out.

*after sometime

This was the last place but still I didn't get into any. I walked by the pedestrian walk.

I walked and walked. I didn't know where I was exactly. I turned to look if anyone was there. But they were all walking damn fast and most of them were at the restaurants and the pubs.

Something caught my eyes. A flyer that was stuck at a wall. I walked towards it and read it.

"A care-taker required." The address and the number were there. I took a photo of it and rode in a taxi to the given address.

I soon reached and paid my fare and got down. I looked at it and let out a heavy breath.

"I hope I get into this." I said and went in. It was huge and beautifully decorated.

"Excuse me. I came across your flyer and I am here for the job." I said.

"Ok. I'll explain your work. Are you good at talking?" She asked.

"Ne, I am."

"Ok then, this job maybe perfect for you. You'll have to be an entertainer for the old agers. They are bored sitting here all day. Make them feel happy." She said.

I thought for a second. It isn't kids like I expected but I can do this.

"ok, I will do." I said.

"Ok. Your salary will be... 30,000 won. You can join from tomorrow." She said and gave me a name tag.

"Thank you so much." I bowed and left. I felt really happy. I was sooo happy that I couldn't express it.

I reached home and barged in.

"I GOT THE JOB!!!" I shouted.

"Wahh... that's really great." Jin said.

"Tell us more about the job." Jungkook said.

"So, it's an entertainer job at a old age home. I know I expected for a kindergarten thing, but I felt this more better."

"As long as you like it." Yoongi said.

"So how much do you get paid?" Namjoon asked.

"30,000 won."

"Woahh... You really deserve it." Hoseok said.

"I'll give you guys a treat on my first salary."

"Thank you Y/n. You're the best." Taehyung said and hugged me.

"Smile wide when it's free." He smiled more.

"Anyways, I'm really tired. I'll go take some rest." I said and went to my room.

I could finally sleep happily. Everything is sorted. Everything is going in the right way.

Third person POV

"Hey, I said about this friend, right? That she went overseas and she was my friend, during elementary school." They nodded.

"She's coming to Seoul tomorrow. I thought I'd introduce her to you guys."

"Sure, we'd love to meet her." Jimin said and Taehyung smiled.

Maybe Taehyung made the wrong decision. What will this lead to?
