Everyone in the marriage hall was looking towards the stage.
All the colour drained away from Vista's face. Ariel was too lost in observing all this that she didn't seem to realize that the shout came from her side only.
It was only when Adele pulled her back a little that she realized that it was Leon, her supposedly groom who was screaming.
"Ahhhh...."
Ariel's watched with question filled eyes as Leon was leaning down and screaming continuously. He has covered his ears with his hands.
"Stop it! Stop it! Stop making those sounds!"
Ariel looked around wondering who he was telling that to.
The hall was completely silent and only his screams could be heard. However, a few moments later, it was Vista who stepped forward and said to the media persons.
"Stop it! Someone take them out."
Vista immediately called someone and then a team of security guards entered the marriage hall and dragged all the media people outside.
Was it the sound of cameras that was bothering him?
Ariel wondered.
She had a deep frown on her forehead as she saw Vista stepping forward and caressing Leon's head to calm him down. He was taking deep breaths.
"Leon...my child. Calm down."
When Leon raised his head, Ariel saw that he was crying like a child. His face was completely red and full of tears.
"Aunt...Leon doesn't like that sound. Ask them not to make it."
"Alright, Aunt will make sure that no one will make it. Calm down now. Leon is a good boy, right?"
Leon nodded his head vigorously at Vista's words.
"He is crazy."
Ariel heard Adele whispering from her side.
When she looked around the hall, she saw Ines was walking towards Henry. From the looks of it, it seemed that she was trying to convince Henry not to go ahead with this marriage. But he looked as if she was talking to someone else. The hall was filled with whispers.
Evidently, everyone has seen Leon like this for the first time.
No one knew that the heir of the Miller family was a child from brain.
No wonder everything about him was kept so secretive.
Somehow, Vista made Leon come back to the stage and stand there again. She signed the priest to continue.
Adele scoffed when she saw this and whispered
"This is ridiculous. I won't let it happen."
However, when she was stepping forward to stop everything, Ariel suddenly held her hand.
Adele shook her head as she looked at Ariel's face covered with veil.
"Seriously....all this for money."
She couldn't help but ask.
Was it? Ariel asked herself.
Yes. But she couldn't make Adele understand it. Adele had not faced shortage of money. She and her grandmother did.
Today, the old lady was getting treated inside that VIP ward because of money only.
"I can't believe you."
Adele said and left from the stage after that.
Vista stood beside Leon the whole time after that. Ariel noticed how Leon shook many times in between but somehow he did whatever the priest required him to do.
When the priest asked her to say 'I do', Ariel was silent for a moment before she said so.
"You may kiss the bride now."
The words sounded in the marriage hall.
Ariel wanted to laugh when Vista guided Leon to lift her veil. Will she also teach him how to kiss her now?
"Kiss her, Leon."
Vista said gently and then stepped back.
Ariel looked at that beautiful face that approached him. She closed her eyes when the lips fell on her cheek.
Although it was not supposed to be like this, everyone inside the marriage hall clapped. The atmosphere was completely awkward but perhaps the reputation of Miller and Mintz family forced people not to raise any questions.

After all the rituals ended, Ariel was directly send to the car waiting outside the marriage hall while Leon was accompanied by Vista.
When she walked out of the wedding venue, Ariel noticed a few policemen standing outside. She smiled slightly when she noticed Joeff. Coincidently, Joeff also noticed her.
Seeing the recognition flashing across Joeff's eyes, Ariel didn't need to go to him. Instead, he himself came to her.
"Miss Ariel?"
"Yes, Joeff."
Ariel acknowledged him. Joeff looked surprised to see her there and expressed it as well.
"I didn't know that you are the bride today."
Ariel didn't say anything to these words. She couldn't blame Joeff. After all, yesterday he knew her as a girl who lived in slums and today she was the bride of the heir of richest family of Torris.
He was bound to be surprised.
Ignoring what he said, she instead asked him
"Mr. Joeff is here. Did something happen?"
"Oh...that...it's nothing. We are just waiting for the same thief. He usually comes to these big events."
Ariel nodded her head in understanding.
"You might not get the thief today then."
Joeff looked at her questioningly when he heard these words so Ariel continued
"I mean...the wedding ended already and nothing happened so..."
In response to these words, Joeff could only smile in disappointment.
"Miss Ariel is right. I might not catch him today."
Ariel raised her eyebrows in surprise on sensing the utter disappointment in Joeff's tone. It was weird actually. There were so many case in Torris. Serial killings, murders and more people who stole much more money.
Why was Joeff so hell bent on solving this case only!
However, a car was waiting for her and the driver had already walked to her asking if they could leave. So she could only take her leave and walk towards the car.
