Chapter 35. World war declaration

Hancock's face fell down, Ace saw that she was very close to breaking down.

Maybe it was because she had met a Celestial dragon again.

Or maybe it was because a Celestial dragon had been killed. Maybe it was because her whole world almost got destroyed but she got saved by the person she tried to kill.

Or maybe it's because of some other mysterious reason, but she looked very feeble at this moment.

Hearing his words, both Sandersonia and Marigold turned to Hancock with sadness on their faces.

"We must apologise sister!" Sandersonia said.

"Not only were we once again at jeopardy with the world government and the world nobles, but we were saved by the enemy!" Marigold said, backing up Sandersonia.

Boa Hancock was still looking down.

"That's enough... What is it that you want from us." Hancock finally asked Ace, as he hasn't yet returned to his ship.

"Just return my Nakama to normal. I won't use your secret against you. Now I am even a bigger enemy to the celestials than you are." Ace spoke.

"He speaks truthfully sister!" Sandersonia said.

Hancock nodded as she turned towards the Black Pearl and used her abilities to turn the demon Ace pirates into living beings once again.

Soon, the demons ce pirates came to their right minds as they started looking around confusedly. Not understanding what had transpired.

"Hey, go ans loot this ship, make sure you get all of their cargo as well." Ace said as he jumped to his ship.

His Nakama looked at the ship wondering where it came from.

"Hurry, soon a whole fleet will come after us." Ace said, making his crewmates more alert.

"Now what?" Hancock asked as all the Demon Ace Pirates got moving.

"Now we part ways, and hopefully, we'll never meet again." Ace said, dissatisfied with how his meeting with the Kuja pirates had transpired.

Hancock bit her lips in frustration.

After a minute of silence, she finally spoke.

"Return to Amazon Lily with us." She said reluctantly.

Ace got surprised.

The two sisters got even more so.

"Sister, men are forbidden from entering Amazon Lily!" Marigold cried out in protest.

"The world government and the Marines will come after them with full force. They won't be able to escape this. So I'll hide them with us for... Helping us." Hancock explained.

The Boa sisters seemed reluctant but they accepted.

Ace wasn't certain if he should follow them.

But it's true that with him killing a world noble, the full focus of the marines and world government will be on him and his crew for a while, and his Nakama aren't ready for that kind of heat yet.

So it might be a good idea to hide on Amazon Lily, the place where they are the least likely to be found at.

"What's with this charcoal body? Cap'n did you do this?" Urouge asked with a big smile as he walked past the burn body of Saint Jon.

"Yes that's saint Segwey Jon, a world noble." Ace said.

"Ah I see... NAAANIIII?!!!" Urouge flew up like a cat.

His whole crew reacted and halted, staring at him.

They were carrying foods, gold, cargo, loot and other valuables.

Nami was holding onto a chest full of gold coins. She halted and stared at Ace, then at the burnt body, then at the chest full of gold in her arms, then her sights returned to the burnt body.

"Are you telling me... That I'm stealing the gold of a Celestial dragon?" She asked with zero emotion in her tone.

"WAHAHHAA, maybe your bounty will go up now!" Ace laughed.

His demeanour finally returned to his laid back, nonchalant ways.

Nami stared at him.

"Wahahahha look at the good side!" Ace said happily.

"Not many pirates in the history of pirates have had the chance to steal the gold of a world noble!" Ace said.

His reasoning was sound.

Nami was now one of the few people that had done that.

To a strong pirate that's not afraid of death, that might be a badge of honour, but to a weakling like Nami, that fears death... That was a curse that will follow her to death.

"You know what, I already knew that following you, would lead me to death. So Why not enjoy it! " She said in a chuckle, as she continued carrying the gold to their ship.

Ace stopped laughing when he saw her behaving like this.

'Huh, did her brain break?' he asked himself, worried for her. He looked towards Law, their doctor to make sure her brain wasn't broken.

Law was deep in thought as he stared at the brunt body of Saint Jon.

Finally, it had hit him that they were indeed sailing towards their dreams.

Although Ace had promised to fight THAT person, it didn't feel real until this moment.

If Ace dared to do that to a Celestial dragon, then he surely would dare to do it to Doflamingo.

Ace ignored Law as he saw him in deep thought.

Very soon, they took everything of value.

"So will you follow us?" Marigold asked. Hancock had disappeared into her cabin.

Ace looked at his crewmates before nodding.

He needed to go find somewhere to train his Nakama.

As soon as he agreed they all started sailing.

When they were far enough, Ace turned back and burnt down the whole Marine ship, leaving no traces.

Inside the Captain's Cabin of the Yuda pirate ship, Hancock held a den den mushi.

"So I left, on my way to Amazon Lily. There was no point for me to be there when the the world noble commanded me to go." Hancock spit out with arrogance.

"..." Sengoku kept silent, her story was in line with what Flame Emperor Ace had said.

A big fleet is on its way to the area where Saint Jon died, to catch Ace and to investigate what had truly happened

He had called Boa Hancock to hear her side of the story.

"Did the rookie escape? Are you marines that incompetent without me?" Hancock said with an arrogant smirk.

"Saint Segwey Jon died." Sengoku said.

"... Truly, your incompetence reeks." Hancock said before closing the call.

Hancock sighed as her shoulder shook. Today, she almost fell into the same fate as she did when she was young.

She was hidden in her room, and if anyone could see her at this moment, they wouldn't see tha haughty, lofty, arrogant Empress they knew her as.

No, right now, she was feeble, weak, almost broken.

"He took on the world to save us..." She whispered.

As for Ace, he laid on board as he stared at the sky. His ship was sailing behind the Perfume Yuda. A few days had passed by since he killed a world Noble.

Suddenly, Ace frowned as he felt many signatures of Haki in the distance ahead, in the direction they are headed.

Ace stood up and shouted for the kuja pirates.

"What is is, male human Ace!" Sandersonia asked.

"Where are we headed right now? He asked with a frown.

"To Amazon Lily, we'll first pass the calm belt." She answered.

The calm belt is a place where there is no currents nor any wind. It's impossible to sail there and it's also the meeting place for the world's biggest and most dangerous sea kings and Yuda.

The Perfume yuda ship uses two Yuda to pull it throught the calm belt, and protect the ship from other sea kings.

"Are you expecting people to wait for you?" Ace asked.
