CHAPTER 1: SHIN ARI

"Sales report for this week?"

"Uhm, 10% sir"

"Just 10 percent? What happened to 15 or 20, are they on a vacation?"

"Sir, we've just opened Alanga last week, there hasn't been much sales"

"KIM Shopping mall is world wide, do you think another department opening within a short notice is gonna reduce sales?"

Kim Min Gyu slammed the documents on the table which made everyone around the table flinch. His secretary suddenly came rushing beside him, whispering something in his ear. His face crunched up a bit. He took a deep sigh and gave him a signal. His secretary understood what he meant and disappeared right away.

"Anyways, I want the numbers to round up by the rest of the day. No one's going home without completing their tasks" he said with a stern look as he rubbed his temple.

Suddenly a woman's silhouette walked into the room which made everyone's jaw almost fall off. She wasn't an ordinary woman. She was a fallen angel.

Stylishly and elegantly,she walked into the room as if she owned the world. Nobody dared to say a word

"Hello" she waved and Kim Min Gyu looked up surprised at who it was

"Ari.....?"

"Long time no see kim Min gyu"

"When did you get back?"

"Why? I'm also a citizen of Korea. I'm I not allowed to come back to my country anytime I want?" she said as she took a sit beside him.

"You're really doing a good job trying to avoid me" she said in all smiles

"What are you doing here" Kim Min Gyu asked. Why is she suddenly back in the country. She was supposed to get her MBA next year. Having her around was a total headache for him and it seems like he cant get to scrape her off

"Of course I came to see you"

" Aren't you supposed to finish your studies"

" I quit" she said and Kim Min Gyu almost chocked on his spit. Even his employees were surprised.Their boss lost his composure because of this strange woman

" What do you mean by that?"

"Just the literal meaning. I ran away from home" she said again. Kim Min Gyu suddenly became aware of their surroundings so he dismissed everyone.

"Who was that just now?" One of the employee named Bam-sa asked as they all walked out

" You don't know her? That's shin Ari. The second daughter of Tae Yang group" another employee replied

"Tae Yang....Tae Yang..." She muttered as she browsed her phone. She suddenly gasped when Tae Yang family picture came up on the web

"Oh,oh,oh that's right. The conglomerate family." The Bam-sa suddenly said as she hit the lady beside her repeatedly

"But was is she doing here, does she know the boss" Bam-sa asked again

" Of course you're just a new intern so you don't really know anything. Shin Ari is like the rotten egg of their family. She is not close with them one bit. Apparently,they knew each other as a kid,so whenever she had problems at home,she always sucked up to the boss" the second employee named lia explained

"Wow" Bam-sa exclaimed

"But she went out of the county three years ago, I don't know why she is suddenly back."

"Rumour also has it that they used to be engaged" Lia said which earned a scream from Bam-sa

" Hey keep it down" Lia tried to shut her up

"You should go back" Kim Min Gyu said as he fumbled with his shirt button

"I don't want to. I'm here to suck up to you like a leech" she was being stubborn and he hates it. " No. Go home. Aunt and uncle must be worried

" Worried? Are you trying to make me laugh?" She said as she chuckled lightly

"Well, I'm busy now as you can see" Kim Min Gyu said trying to wave her off. " Really? Okay I'll leave. It's boring when you get snarky". She said as she got up and left the room, exiting the entire building.

What a pain in the ass
