ritsuka and mash both focused on hearing the story from Jeanne, the story about the holy grail war that Alex experience, and how he as a human can fight head on with a servant even with the number disadvantage.

"Jeanne what happen to the grail did Alex win and fulfill the wish he want?"

"I don't know, after my attempt to stop Amakusa Shirou failed I was sent back to the throne of heroes."

"at that time I can only leave the rest to Alex."

"but it seems something happen to Alex, after all he is now summoned as a servant by Chaldea."

"Jeanne you don't need to worry, after all he said he is still alive, he can be summon because he made a contract with Alaya."

"yes Jeanne-san, Alex is very powerful, what we need to do is to solve the singularity first so Sensei problem can be solved."

hearing Mash words Ritsuka and Jeanne nod in agreement.

after saying that all three of them started to discussed with each other on how to deal with this singularity.

after a moment of discussion the three of them now is sure there's a problem that stem from Jeanne herself, since she as a Ruler cannot use the skill given when she acquire the class Ruler.

"hmm this situation is very similar to the grail war that Alex participate in, just this time there's two of me that have the same class."

"that's mean there's two Jeanne, that person may not be Jeanne herself, since she want revenge from the person and country that betray her."

"yes after all Jeanne-san is given the title of saint, after all a person who can be title a saint is not someone who will let herself fall into a path of vengeance."

"it is not impossible that the person that the soldiers are talking about is me, since that is the only possible thing left, after all they have no reason to lie."

"what we should talk about is how to find other servant and to find a more safe place where we can leave Alex body or we should fine a way to solve his problem."

after that the three started another round of discussion on how to proceed, until ritsuka and mash started to yawn.

"well Jeanne how about we stop here for now, we need to rest first since it is already night time."

"agree, I will be the first person to guard, both of you can rest first."

"thank you Jeanne." Ritsuka then started to take out her own sleeping bag, Ritsuka and Mash have a ring made by Alex personally, inside is a small place that can hold non living item, it was made using very rare material and the magic circle was engrave inside a small peak quality magic stone.

not long after ritsuka went to sleep, she was tired from dealing with the siege from the undead and wyvern, while Jeanne helped mash to start a fire on the fireplace, after she finished she decide to sit near the fireplace,

"Jeanne-san, what are you thinking?" mash came closer and sit beside Jeanne to start a conversation.

"ah mash, I was just thinking about the time with Alex, it was really filled with happy moments, this situation remind me of the time when he was running around and fighting a servant head on."

"most of the time he act mature and stable, but sometimes he will show a childish side."

"ahh I understand, Sensei sometimes like to tease Senpai or always increase her training when Senpai started to make fun of him, but I think Sensei is always cool, even though he show a childish side when the time comes he is someone that I can count on."

both of them started to talk about other thing, mash told her experience as a demi-servant to Jeanne, and Jeanne responded with a story of her childhood, before she start her journey.

seeing time passes mash decide to end the chat since she need to sleep to keep up her condition, since they don't know how long they need to solve the singularity, hearing this Jeanne agree with her and hoping her to have a good night rest, not long after mash wear her sleeping bag she fell asleep.

the next day the three of them decide to find a city to gather information about surrounding servant, three of them then finally arrive at a city called La Charite, when they are near the city Roman informed them that inside the city there's 2 servant signature, hearing this they increase the speed of entering the city.

"Jeanne maybe the 2 servant here is an ally we can recruit?, let's hurry up and enter the city, there maybe a servant who can help us with Alex condition."

after saying this ritsuka become excited and enhance her speed, seeing this Jeanne and mash followed behind her.

arriving inside the city wall they saw the condition of the city is still in a good condition even and there's still normal people living here.

"it seems this city is not under attack yet or the 2 servant defend this city." Ritsuka said.

"no, if the 2 servant defended the city, there should be a sign of battle, but the land outside desn't have any remnant of battle."

"so the most likely thing is that the city is not attacked yet."

"then Senpai and Jeanne-san let's hurry and find the 2 servant that live here, maybe we can start by asking the people around about newcomer that came."

hearing mash word they started to take action by asking around the people, they visit the market where there's many people coming and going, when they talked to the people they let Jeanne hide and only both of them talked to the people around.

she remove her armor and dressed like a normal village girl while following the both of them from behind.

"ahh miss Jeanne it is unusual to see you in a white colored clothes, usually you would dress in either black colored clothes, and how come your hair become golden blond from platinum blond?"

hearing the words of the middle age woman Jeanne become confused.

"did you and your husband closed the shop early?, I was just about to visit it and buy a bread from your shop."

"ahh I almost forgot, I was on an errand to buy stuff for dinner, let's chat some other time, tomorrow I will visit your shop, please left some of the bread for me."

the middle age woman then wave goodbye at Jeanne and continue walking.

ritsuka and mash after asking some question they return to find Jeanne being stunned and froze in place.

"Jeanne we found that there seems to be a new shop that just open not long ago, let's visit it maybe they are the servant we are looking for."

"ah, um sure." Jeanne replied absent mindedly.

the both of them did not notice it and drag Jeanne to the location where the new shop are located.
