after the the skeleton and wyvern retreat, the soldiers became relax and realize the fact the person who helped them, they believe the girl holding a flag was the rumored saintess that become the dragon witch, seeing their reaction the girl choose to leave and signal both ritsuka and mash to follow her.

both of them followed her.

"hello, who are you?, my name is Ritsuka and beside me is Mash."

"nice to meet you both, I am Jeanne d'arc I am a servant summon here as Ruler."

"then Jeanne do you know what happen?"

"I'm sorry I was just summon here not too long ago, so I don't know the real situation of the holy grail war itself."

"is that so, Jeanne do you to join us?, we need help on gathering the other servant, and we still need to go back to our base to bring our comrade."

"sure, I will join, say Ritsuka why did your friend stay in your base."

"well he is now unconscious, he is my training instructor and a servant summon by Chaldea to assist in resolving singularity."

"Ritsuka what is Chaldea and singularity?"

hearing her question Ritsuka started to explain the Chaldea in general and explain that now they are not in a normal holy grail war but a singularity cause by a holy grail that distort the history of mankind, resulting in the disappearance of almost all of human being beside those who work and live on Chaldea base.

the both of them are walking towards the cave where Alex while explaining all this, not knowing the fact that the person they talked to have a very close relationship with Alex.

"Jeanne this is a first time I heard the class of Ruler, can you explain it to me?"

"the class Ruler can only be given to those who are not interested to the grail so they can act as the neutral party and become a referee in the holy grail war."

"they are given command spell and this command spell can be use against any servant, also we are provided with True Name Discernment skill to check the status and true name of servant."

"then can you use it to summon other servant to gather here so I can convince them on helping me deal with the singularity."

"I am sorry Ritsuka, it seems when I was summon here there's some problem making me unable to use my skill and I am very weak right now."

"well I've become use to this kind of situation since this is not my first time to face a out of ordinary condition."

"Miss Jeanne what do you mean?" hearing Jeanne statement Mash suddenly asked her question.

"well I was summon in a holy grail war where a second Ruler from the previous one still exist, making the holy grail war became very chaotic." Jeanne seemed to smile while remembering the event itself making both of them confused seeing this.

while they are talking they continue on towards the destination, when it was night they have finally arrive towards the location, and when they are at the entrance of the cave Jeanne suddenly gain a vision, this vision is the same one she got when she was summon in the previous holy grail war.

"Jeanne what happen?, why did you suddenly stop."

"no I just gain a vision, let's go you said your companion suddenly lost his consciousness, maybe I can help you."

"ok, let's go Alex is up ahead."

"yes let's-, WAIT Alex."

"Jeanne, what happen why do you suddenly shout."

"nothing let's go ahead." after saying that she increase her walking speed while Ritsuka and Mash look confused but still continue walking until they reach the open room inside the cave.

she then saw the body that was lying on top of a stone bed and beside it was a golem standing guard.

Ritsuka then order the golem to stand down so they can get closer and check Alex body.

after letting Jeanne check Alex body Ritsuka then ask if she found any problem, Jeanne notice there's no black ring on Alex finger.

"Ritsuka, I don't know for certain what's wrong with Alex, but I can only tell physically he is okay, so the problem is stemming from the mind."

"is that so, is there any way to do something about it Jeanne?"

"I am sorry I am a Saintess, if it's a curse I can probably deal with it, but only magician can deal with the problem stemming from the soul and mind, and I'm sure he is okay since Alex is quite powerful." hearing Jeanne word Ritsuka and Mash become confused, since it can be inferred she have met Alex before, and they suddenly remember that Alex once said he seduced a Saintess.

"hmmm?, Jeanne what do you mean by that?, have you met Alex before?"

after realizing what she said, she became flustered, but decide to tell them the story on how they both met, while they were conversing they didn't notice that Roman and the other is there and now are listening on their conversation.

"hahaha, it seems Alex is very capable since he seduce the Maiden of Orleans herself, how about Director it seems your rival increase again?" Roman suddenly start speaking and hearing this Marie glared at Roman. "DaVinci, change the password for Roman personal terminal and lock his access to his room."

"Director I'm sorry please don't do that, I need to take care of my private collection and if you lock me from my computer I can't chat with Magic Meri."

Marie ignore Roman complain and decide to order the staff to hurry up on finding a way to resolve Alex, while also listening on the conversation of the three people on the screen.
