"THIS WAS AMAZING! Raiden! This place is awesome! I got to see so much about EARTH! Those gods looked fantastic! According to that guy in the museum, they live in the skies! A place called Olympus! We HAVE to go there next!" said Kori as she boiled with excitement. She had been on a long month-and-a-half trip with Raiden and Raven. They had visited London, Munich, Paris, Rome, and now they were in Greece, specifically in Athens.

"Too bad, but that place is long gone. Some even doubt it's real. Shame, I'd have wanted to meet some Greek gods myself, since my powers are based on some of them," said Raiden in response, destroying Kori's chances of seeing Olympus. 

"Hehe, don't be too disheartened Kori, we still have one last battle to conquer!" said Raven.

"Battle?" asked Raven in confusion. 

"See that, Kori? This entire trip we've been fighting for our lives but he doesn't even recognize it as a battle! We've failed every day! But today! I have a feeling! We'll defeat him," said Raven as she looked at Raiden with excitement for her battle.

"Yes! Today's the day! We WILL outlast him! How is it possible for us to lose each time! We will unite to make him sleep first and be the one to lose his stamina! Let's go, RAVEN," Kori said as she took off her clothes and so did Raven following after her. The two jumped on the king-sized bed as they invited Raiden in. "Oh, I see. Well, I'm in a good mood too. Let's see if you can beat me," said Raven as he got excited for the long night ahead.

Raiden opened his phone, the screen showed him the time: 4:00 am. He looked at it for a while then got up from the bed. He looked at his girls, both sleeping with stupefied faces on them. He smiled, happy for the days ahead. He had been wanting life to be this way for him, and now that he had achieved it, he was content with himself, or at least that's what he had thought he should feel.

"For me, this is eternal peace, having the power to protect them, and having them by my side is great. However, there's this feeling deep inside, it's almost like I want more than this. I should be content, happy, and beyond thrilled, but I suppose I never realized how greedy I was. I want more. I want to become more. I want the world, the world to be at peace, with my powers. Yes, I see, I understand it. It is the throne in me, the heroes of greatness can't be content with this life, they desire more, they don't want to stay put when there's a world of threats, people I can still fight, people who are still stronger, they want the peak… No, I can't blame this on them, this is me, I want to be the greatest, I still don't know what this power is and how I gained it, I want to reach a level like that, a level where no one, regardless of their origin and power can influence me, I want to become the ultimate existence."

Raiden's thoughts reached a climax as he set himself on his goal going forward. He grabbed his phone and called Dick.

"Yo, what's up Raiden, isn't it too late where you are?"

"Any news?"

"Well, for now, nothing much. It seems that Waller took your threat seriously. She hasn't released the video or made any sudden moves. You don't need to worry about anything."

"I'm not worried Dick, I simply wanted to know if I should take her head or not. Anyways, how is Carry?"

"*sigh* Always with that dark side of yours. Anyways, Carry is amazing Raiden, she's helped the team tremendously. She's doing great, honestly. I'm grateful for you allowing her to join us. She's been a great asset, and is helping the team amazingly."

"Good. Take care of my Carry, got it? Now tell me, any new information about the so-called competitors of the Kroloteans?"

"Nothing much as of yet, but we've noticed this weird pattern. There have been some sort of disappearances over the last two weeks. We believe it's connected with this competitor, because it was the Light that helped them. Most of these children were runaways from home as well, so we're investigating this case."

"I see, looks like you got your hands full."

"Indeed, and then there's another issue. Some kid came from the future, claiming to be Barry Allen's grandson from the future. He's caused some chaos but we've dealt with him."

"Was he lying?"

"No, I did a DNA test, turns out it was really the truth. After doing something with the Flash, he tried to go back to his time, but his ship failed due to unknown reasons. I've got my doubts about him, but I'm keeping an eye on him. There's also the matter of Arsenal, damn, things are getting hectic."

"Arsenal?"

"Remember Roy? The guy that was kidnapped by the Light and made a clone of him that infiltrated the Justice League five years ago? Well, he's back, and it turns out that he's been alive and frozen, and lost an arm. He was not happy. He almost killed Luther but we managed to stop him, and we're helping him readjust."

"It's a shame that he failed."

"Don't say that, he's young. Had he succeeded he'd be jailed for life."

"Whatever, Aight I'll be seeing you in maybe two weeks."

"Wait, Actually, I've been meaning to tell you, there's a problem in Metropolis. A group of terrorists called the Elite have taken residence there. They've been causing trouble, and we've been unable to capture them at all, so please, consider helping us with that."

"Look, Dick, you're my friend, but you got to understand, there's limits to everything. I know I said I'm the Substitute Superman and all, but don't call me for some pathetic terrorist group. Just deal with it yourself. Remember what I said, unless we're talking city-destroying level, don't call me about it."

"Well actually you're the one that called, and I really do understand Raiden, it's been rough for you ever since you got back, and you wanted a break so long, but I've been interrupting it almost on a weekly basis, but this is really serious, this group has evaded all our attempts at capturing them, and with the Martian Satellite launch getting closer, the entire team is nervous, even Artemis has come back from retirement to help us because we're shorthanded, so please."

"*Sigh* Fine, I'll be back in maybe a week's time, then I'll investigate this 'terrorist' Group, just give me all the info you got on them."

"We don't have anything of importance as of yet, but we do know their leader, it's believed he has some sort of mental ability, mind control or something of a similar nature. He calls himself Manchester Black."
