Sister In Law

*sigh* "how did I get myself into this mess". Jacob asked himself as the sound of water Splashed around. "Jacob, can you hand me a towel". Faith asked. "Sure thing". Jacob says. He then looks in the mirror and rubbed his chin, noticing the facial hair growing in. "hurry up"! Faith yells as she turns the shower off. Jacob grunts and rolls his eyes. He walks over to the towel rack and hands it over. But then she grabs him by the hand and pulls him in. "hey what are yo- whoah *thud*".

"maybe it's not so bad". Jacob thinks to himself as they start laughing.

Jacob is watching TV, laughing and enjoying the comedy show being broadcast on Hulu. Faith takes a look in the fridge, realizing they need milk.

"Jacob, we are out of milk"! Faith yelled. "We can get some later, I'm watching my show"! Jacob yelled back. Faith walks in the living room and turns off the TV. "We need milk, some guests are coming over at 6 and I'm making dinner, you have three hours, go get some milk". she said. "Alright I'm going." Jacob said, he put on his shoes and headed out the door after saying, "put a shirt on the curtains are open"!

"Why do I lie to myself and her?" He thinks to himself as drives to the store. "It's not like I don't like her, but do I love her"? Jacob gets in the store and notices a familiar face. "Amelia"? Jacob says.

"oh Jacob, it's been a while, how is my favorite brother in-law doing"? she says. "We aren't siblings in law anymore, I'm married and Catherine is dead". Jacob says. "Don't be like that, you're still a part of our family". she says. "Well I need to be back with some milk, I'll be seeing you". I say. As I walked to the cashier Amelia grabbed me by my arm. "do you want to go see Catherine with me"? She asked.

"it's been a year and a half since she died, so why do I still feel pain in my heart". Jacob says. "Because you still haven't let go of what was". Amilia says. "How could I not? I've known her my whole life". Jacob says. "So has Faith but you still don't love her". Amelia says. "what are you talking about, of course I love her, I married her after all". Jacob says. "You married her because you were hurt, and was just using her to try and forget about Catherine". Amelia says. "You don't know me, I've only talked to you at my wedding and family trips, so how do you know how I'm feeling"!? Jacob yells. "Because Catherine talked about you all the time to me!" she yells, "She told me everything about you because she loved you, but she would want you to move on". "You don't know tha-" "of course I know that! I'm the only one who knows that"! she yells.

"I'm going home". Jacob got in his car and took off. as he stopped at a red light he screams and punches the horn, which startles the pedestrians crossing the road.

"I'm home! and I got 2%". Jacob says. "Just in time". Faith says. "Your welcome, Jacob says as he walks to the living room. "Freeze mister!" she snaps. "You may be in time to put the milk in the food, but why were you gone for 2 hours"?

"I ran into Amelia, and we talked for a bit, that's all". Jacob says. "you're lying". Faith says. "how"? Jacob asked. "because you used the words, that's all' and you're breath smells like alcohol". Faith says. "Fine, after we talked I went to the bar and had one beer, that's it". Jacob says. Faith looked at Jacob with an angry and disappointed look on her face. "Go to your room and sober up before the guest arrives, I'll call you when they do". Faith says with a gentle but sad voice. So Jacob goes in his room and falls asleep until the guest arrives and he wakes up with a hangover. After they ate and talked with them the guests left and the day ended.
