The Unexpected

"Let's go, Noah," I grabbed his hand and try to get him out of here when he suddenly revoked it.

He still looking at them. He don't even say a word or even blink. He's just standing and waiting for them to speak. I think he's not in his right mind anymore.. I need to get him out of here.

"Let's go!" I shouted which made him get back to the reality.

"Raine.." His voice are weak.

"I want to go home," I lied. This is the only way of removing him in this place.

"Are you okay?" He seems worried. "Let's go home.." And my plan succeed.

He pulls me and held my hand. We were about to leave the place when Shawn suddenly appear and stops us. He seems bothered and sorry, but it won't work on me. He hurt Noah, and they hurt him. I won't ever let them crash him again.

"Can we talk for a minute?" He's brushing the few strands of his hair using his fingers. What a loss.. I thought he's cute, but not anymore..

"I don't wanna talk to you, is that enough for an excuse?"

"Just a few seconds, please?"

"We have to go," He said then grabbed my hand.

I understand him for leaving like that. No one in this house tried to stop the tension between them a while ago.. Noah wasted his time coming here for nothing. His friends are so damn useless..

"I'm sorry for what happened in the party, Raine." He says when we came back to the shop.

I left some of my things so I told him to bring me here. He also offered to drive me on my apartment and I said yes. He's now waiting for me at the back of the door.

When I finally packed my things, I exit the door and faced Noah.

He is now leaning on the wall, patiently waiting for me while his hands are crossed. He smiles when he saw me and guide me outside the shop.

"It's not your fault, we don't have any idea of what will happens in the party,"

"But I invited you.. You deserved to have fun and meet my friends.."

"I don't need to have fun, I only need you to have fun Noah.. And meeting your friend only make me feel sick! I'm sorry if I say this but your friends are dumb. They know what's happening there a while a go, they know the tension.. But they didn't bother to stop you.." I really want to say this to him. I'm a straight forward person, I say what's on my mind and sometimes I want to smashed this mouth for being harsh.

"Yeah, I agree.." He says then smiles sadly.

He opened the door of his car then signal me to go inside and that's what I did. I smiled before he turned to his seat. Gentleman.

"They're so mean to you," I said when he finally start the engine.

"They're just cowards.." He says while driving.

"Why?"

"I don't know.."

"What about Dana?" I said without thinking if it wouldn't hurt him or not.

"Dana.." He seems deeply thinking about her. Biting his bottom lip and sadness flushes through his eyes. I got annoyed by his expression, he shouldn't have thought of her like that.

"You love her that much, huh?" I cannot contain being sarcastic.

"I do," He says and smiles bitterly.

"What a shame," I sarcastically says.

I heard him chuckle, then turned his head to face me. He is surely a stupid guy who can't finally over a girl.

"It's okay to be stupid sometimes, I just loved her more than my life.. But she.." He didn't finished his sentence.

"She?"

"She hurt me and I can't forgive her,"

"They say, love is forgiving. Why don't you give her another chance?" Now I'm the one whose stupid here.

"Chance is for those people who only deserves it."

"Did she do something unforgivable to you?" I can't help but to asked. It bothers me. A lot.

He shook his head, meaning he don't want to tell me or even go even further. I feel like I am torturing him through my questions so I stopped.

"Wanna have a drink?" He suddenly asked when we're on our way to my apartment.

"Sure," I can't let him drink alone, so I agreed.

"Finally, I have someone to drink on this peaceful night," He slightly smiles.

He turns the car towards the way to the bar and when we finally came there, he opened the door for me wearing a smile. He's a person who never fails to smile even if he does have a lot of problems and struggles in life. Its adding to his charms..

We enter the bar then choose our drinks. I just have a beer while he's drinking the hard one. I can't stop him so I just let him be. I can't believed that I'm drinking with him right now and now he's already sober.

His head are waving and his eyes are grumpy. He looks at me then smiles. Now, he's drunk. I need to take care of this drunken guy in the middle of the night, this is my first time.

"Come on, let's go home," I grabbed his arm and gently put it on my shoulder.

Thankfully, I'm immune to some kind of heavy things to bear, so its easy to me to bring him in the car.

"Raine," He whispered.

"What?"

"Why did she has to appear again?" He sounds angry. "She hurt me and I can't forgive her.."

"Yeah, don't forgive her and don't you dare try to get back to her,"

He didn't respond so my brow raised, "You don't want? Will you get back to her?"

I shake him but he didn't speak. His eyes are close and his mouth are slightly parted. He is now snoring in the middle of our walk so I hurriedly put him inside the car. Thank God, I got my driver's licence before so I can take him home without any problems.

I start the engine then drive the car away from here. Luckily, I know where he lives so I can take him there.

"What's wrong with me, Raine?" He cries while his eyes are closed. "Am I not enough?" He resentfully says. "Am I not handsome?"

"You are handsome, fucking bastard! That's why I like you so much, so shut up!" I smacked his face and he finally sleeps.

I smiled when I heard him snore.
