Chapter 114: Calcel stopped me..

Calcel only went back to the Mansion to change his clothes. On reaching the room, May was there asleep and the room had been cleaned up.

Calcel ignored her and went to his walk in wardrobe where he got a new white shirt and his blue pants .

He was done dressing up when May asked.

" Where were you the whole night ? "

He turned to look at her. She was still lying on the bed.

" You left me with no choice but to leave.."

" So you went to Alyssa's? " He asked.

" What if I say so ? "

" Oh..it's obvious. You went to see her.." May concluded and begun sobbing.

Calcel heard her sniffs and knew she was crying. He wanted to leave but then guilty. For real May was his wife. Feeling some sympathy, He looked at her and said

" May...I know I am a very bad husband. And I know how hurt you have been after finding out everything about me. But...you have to understand me. " He said reducing his voice.

" l also don't want to be a cruel husband the way I am. But...maybe fate didn't decide that we should be together. I won't lie, I really do love Alyssa with all my life amd I can bet it if you still want to tell the public everything. " He sighed and continued.

" Please forgive me for hurting you. I am really sorry. " He said and left.

When he was away May got up and wento change clothes.

Alyssa was with Marvis when the door knocked and she went to open to see her shock of life. May at the door way.

Alyssa swallowed hard on seeing her. " May..." That's all she could say.

" Can we talk ? " May asked.

" Sure...you..are welcome. " Alyssa stuttered. She was comforting herself but inside she was very scared.

Marvis who was seated doing laundry with Alyssa saw May and Smiled.

" Marvis ..my visitor would like to talk to me. Do you mind excusing us ? " Alyssa requested.

" I am already used to that. " Marvis blurted while she walked out.

When Marvis was out, Alyssa waited for the battle to begin.

" May...how did you find out about me ? "

" I saw you yesterday when I came over. " May said politely as they sat down.

Alyssa was really feeling uncomfortable. May begun looking around the room.

" ..ah..what brings you here ?" Alyssa managed to ask.

" Is there anything else that binds is excited my husband? " May posed a question.

Alyssa really felt guilty and she kept silence.

" You fooled everyone including your mother that you left for left to the States. Yet you were here cheating with my husband. " May spoke in a calm way.

" I had left but Calcel stopped me. I didn't fool anyone. " Alyssa defended herself.

" Calcel stopped you ? " May asked and chuckled.

" Ya...he found out I was leaving and came to my placement. He stopped me when I was on my way to the airport. " She answered.

" Stopping you? And you accepted to come back and steal my husband? You are very shameless ! "

" I didn't plan onto anything. And I didn't want to come back either. " Alyssa said raising her tone.

" I wanted to go far away and start a new life . I wanted to act and sing again. I wanted freedom ! "

May was being astonished by Alyssa's sudden bitterness.

" But look...I am now stuck here hiding from everyone because I also know that what I am doing is wrong. I want to go see my mother, Herman and other friends, I want yo talk to my fans and sign their autographs, I want to sing for the children, I want to be seen on TV again as a leading actress...But I can't do all those because of the burden I am carrying. Do you know how bad it feels ? " Alyssa asked in tears .

" Leir..." May sneered. " If you wanted all those then Calcel wouldn't have convinced you to stay. " She said.

" You are right. It's not Calcel that convinced me to stay. " Now Alyssa looked at May deep .

" It's his baby that I am carrying. " Alyssa ended up confessing.

May couldn't believe her ears and her eyes immediately released a tear on hearing this.

" ...You...you...are pregnant? " She asked to confirm.

" He found put I was carrying his child and forced me to stay. " Alyssa said looking away from May.

But May got up and asked. " You are pregnant ? " Still in a shocked tone. She seemed not to have heard What Alyssa just said.

May rushed out of the room without anyother word. She was really still in shock. She felt her knees weak but she managed to walk to her car and entered it. The moment she locked the door, She put her hands on the steering wheel and burst into tears.

' It's hus baby that I am carrying ! " Alyssa's wprds echoed in her mind again.

" No...no....she can't be ! " May gave a loud cry in disappointment.

Alyssa also begun crying knowing that what she said hurt May. She really didn't want but May just forced her.

She was still like that when Marvis came to the room

" I saw your friend leaving so I came back. " Marvis said before she saw Alyssa's face and Alyssa was quickly drying off her tears when Marvis noticed what she was doing.

" Alyssa, Are you crying ? " Marvis asked kneeling before her and cupping her face.

Alyssa sighed and said. " Marvis, I don't know what to do.." She cried out.

" What do you mean ? What is wrong ? " Marvis asked.

" The woman who just keft is Calcel's wife. " Alyssa said in sobs.

" Oh...so did she findout you are pregnant ? " Marvis asked.

" I was so irrational. I told her. " Alyssa cried.

" Now don't cry because of that. She would find out anyway. " Marvis said.

" I am relieved that sje now knows but I am still worried. And I am scared. " Alyssa cried

" Don't worry. I am here with you. " Marvis said and hugged Alyssa. Alyssa hugged her back and cried as much as she could.
