Fading Horizons

In a world ravaged by a mysterious, natural disaster, clouds pass over the Earth, transforming everything they touch into a bleak, black-and-white wasteland. Anyone caught in this monochrome zone vanishes, disintegrating into bluish-silver dust. Humanity becomes chaotic as the sky darkens and the clouds approach without warning. Amidst this disaster, a young girl must fight to survive and protect her loved ones. Racing against time, she struggles to outrun the clouds and keep her family and friends from disappearing into nothingness. With every passing moment, the world around her becomes less recognizable, and the only certainty is the ever-present threat of the vanishing point.

Car episode

I FOUND a stash! Exclaimed Layla as she pulled them from behind the whiteboard. She was like, Who keeps drama supplies at the back of the board? Also, is this like a secret compartment or what? Whatever I don't care, I still have to get home to my family; Layla's thoughts. Alex, this rope is long enough; no need to tie anything together. Let's go. Lay called Alex. What we gotta go, said Layla impatiently. There is a car waiting outside for us. I wonder if it's classy said Layla aloud without even realising it. Alex walked past her towards the window. "Of course it is." Layla was embarrassed for what she just said and just followed Alex from behind. Excuse me, my lady, he said in a British accent. You kidding me, bruh said Layla with a 'What the hell' look on her face. Alex grabbed Layla by the waist and then jumped out of the window, gracefully landing on the convertible below.

Layla was stunned, Alex! What was that for? She looked at Alex and realised his arms were still around her. She blushed and mustered enough courage to say, Alex, get your hands off me, but he didn't listen; he pretended like the engine noise of the car had maxed out Layla's voice. Layla just relaxes as they begin the journey out back to her house. One thing Layla, Alex said, "You need to be more observant." Layla made a "what???" face, but it quickly faded away as the wind slapped her across her cheek, which made her hair blow and deviate her attention.

Layla's school is a posh private school, located in a private area, so it's basically a school inside a whole neighbourhood, but only empty houses are there. The roads are basically called SS1 (School Street 1), SS2,... according to how they were made. Layla and Alex are currently driving on the SS2 street lane.

Maybe I can relax now, said Layla She watched the breeze blow back and noticed how Alex's hair still had some sort of shine as it blew across his face; he has silver-grey hair. Alex, did you change your hair product? Asked Layla out of curiosity. "Yes," he replied with a cold voice. A frown appeared on his face, What's the matter? Asked Layla, He pointed at the gates of the school, which was wide open.

Oh, Crud cursed Layla under her breath...
