Fading Horizons

In a world ravaged by a mysterious, natural disaster, clouds pass over the Earth, transforming everything they touch into a bleak, black-and-white wasteland. Anyone caught in this monochrome zone vanishes, disintegrating into bluish-silver dust. Humanity becomes chaotic as the sky darkens and the clouds approach without warning. Amidst this disaster, a young girl must fight to survive and protect her loved ones. Racing against time, she struggles to outrun the clouds and keep her family and friends from disappearing into nothingness. With every passing moment, the world around her becomes less recognizable, and the only certainty is the ever-present threat of the vanishing point.

Class 10

Alex ran, shoving others out of the way, grabbed Layla's hand, and pulled her behind a wall. Layla was panting and trying to shake off Alex's grip on her hand. Alex pulled Layla towards him and hugged her He whispered into her ears, "It's going to be alright." Layla breathed in and cooled down, but she only did it for Alex as she was still in panic in her head. So how do we go to my house? said Layla in a cool voice, but she couldn't fool Alex; he saw through it but pretended to see it to keep the situation as it was now.

We are actually going to be jumping out of the class 10 window because it is the only way that leads out of the school. The school's back exit is probably being clogged by students again because we stayed too long. Also, don't forget there are other classes in the school apart from our class. Layla just nodded in response as they were making a run for it towards class 10. She wondered when Alex started to talk so much; maybe it's because of the current situation; it's really pressing, thought Layla; she then made a hum, I don't care sound. What's that? Lay asked Alex as he heard the noise she made. She replied nothing. Anyway, he continued, we are already at class 10.

Layla walked towards the window and saw how far it was down; she then remembered that they were on the second floor. She turned her head in a slow manner downstairs and asked Al, You see that right? How do we get down? Don't worry, he said. He went to the back of the classroom to look for a rope. Lay, if you remember the drama's club meeting place was this class, they should have a lot of ropes we could join together. Alright, let's start searching, then said Layla We don't have much time anyway if we want to escape from this place alive.
