Bugged?

I haven't talked too much with the others about their sheet pages I mentioned it, but they didn't care as much except for Rose.

The appearance of question marks in some of the parts wasn't unusual, we came with some theories about them, Rose's and Hope's status were the perfect examples for that.

All four of us have the appearance of question marks in our Esper power area, this is most likely because of unknown functions that we have yet to unlock. So in Dante's case where a whole power is hidden, it probably means that he has yet to awaken that Esper Ability. This questions marks also appear in Hayley's power, so it was no that weird.

The ones that were not that common where the other two.

Rose's and Dante's current Rank/Potential was also shown as "B/A?".

One of my theories was that since I'm C Rank, it's more difficult for me to see their potential of those that are on higher tiers than me. Another option that I thought about was that the system is not as powerful as I thought and the lack of answers is either due to his lack of knowledge or inability to really measure A Rank abilities. Finally was that there is no certainty about a tier over A-Rank, so their powers are strong enough to be in between the highest types on the A-Rank or even in another rank over A.

About the knowledge, something similar happened with Hope. In her case, she had two separate areas. Mastered showed the ones that she has analyzed and understood. The other area was the same as Dante's full of a question mark. It's probably because it is difficult to measure someone knowledge when he either remembers everything that it's in the books or he could look for it in someone else's head.

Of course, there is an even more straightforward answer and is that the system is bugged and in dire needs of a patch.

Other things that jump into my sight were some abilities and Perks… some of the points seemed too large but taken into account that the numbers are busted by perks and powers is not that weird that with telepathy Dante got a considerable boost in intelligence and wisdom. In the case of Hope, the boost on her intelligence came from her eidetic memory, and Roses int and wisdom came from all her mind perks and her Astral Manipulation.

Dante and Hope also had the perk that was offered to me when I got 25 points in charisma. If I'm not wrong, it was to make it easier to manipulate people.

In Hope's case together with her puppy eyes (I always knew that there was something weird going on there), she could get what she wants most of the time… that explains A LOT of things…

Finally, Master level Skills weren't common, less if they weren't part of an Esper ability, but Dante's purring was a Lv. 5 master tier skill…

I get that when someone is sick or feeling down, your cat purring at you to makes you feel a lot better, but I never thought that it would be this effective. I thought about using his purring to train more my legendary ability, but unfortunately, a purr must come out naturally.

In about half an hour I'm supposed to train some new recruits. I didn't have the time to have a regular class every day as I was requested at the beginning, so one day of the week I was going to teach the new recruits Krav Maga as a part of the crash course.

In the last week's session, there were people besides the recruits that wanted to learn about it, so it was filled to the brim… not that I care.. this is awesome to improve both my Mentor and Krav Maga skills. And I also had another reward from it.

As I browsed once again the mission tab. I noticed that people started to fill the place eager to learn, in the morning they should have assisted to theoretical classes and a light fitness training, now in the afternoon it was time for combat training, and I think that they have a melee weapons class later too.

Since most of them were already here, I stood up and took a quick look.

I saw faces from last week's class. I was surprised to find that Hannah was in between the new recruits. I got near her to say hi before we start… there are a couple of minutes left.

"Hey, Hannah are you joining the hunting teams?"

"No, Law enforcement… I don't have power, and I don't think that I could go out and fight beasts like the hunting teams do."

"You know that as a law enforcement you might have to fight too right? if you don't want to fight why the risk?"

"I know, but this area in general lacks of people and the pay is better…"

I never thought about it that way, but now that I think about it most people here have to pay for everything resources are not unlimited after all… she seemed uncomfortable talking about money, and she continued talking for me to not misunderstand her reasons.

"My dad got injured in the east gate battle, and they had to cut his leg… most of the money now comes from my work… we are fine now, but there is going to be a moment that I will need more for dad to live comfortable…"

I haven't talked with her for a while… mainly because last time I met her was because I was trying to patch up things with Megan and was utterly rejected. Hannah told to just give her time, and if she decides to forgive me she will find me, but I shouldn't worry about it anymore. It wasn't my fault.

Because of this, I failed to know what happened to her dad. I could have done something if I knew before.

"I'm sorry to hear that Hannah… but don't lose hope with everything that has happened there might be a way for him to be fine, the latest prosthetics were already able to move by themselves, and it should be just a matter of time to recover that technology too."

I noticed that she was trying to be strong so I didn't talk about it anymore… if my plan works, it would be great, but I don't want to give her false hopes. Also, it was time for class to start.

I looked around and recognized another face, one of the patients of the Aurora clinic that has recovered. Just like that guy they were a couple of them that had an aura that made me recognize them as Espers, Hannah included.

I was surprised by it because she said that she didn't have any power, she might not know. The Aura is weak, so she is most likely an F-Rank anyway, and if I'm not wrong, it should be related to her reflexes or something like that, no wonder it escaped everyone's notice.
