239 Let’s Go Back To Yesterday

Half of the people were surprised because of my words. The ones that came to the class last week already knew that it was coming, and some of them already understand why I said that.

The reason was simple, this was not a game…

I needed them to understand from the first moment that the things that they are learning are not for self-defense like you were told when you start practice martial arts. Despite the reason, they had for joining the hunting teams the moment they start, there will be lives in the line.

If they are entering the hunting teams, they are going to kill, and if they doubt about doing it, someone else or themselves are the ones that are going to die. This was true even if they are in the law enforcement… it was shown during the night attack.

I explained this to them… if someone wanted to back out, this was the moment… no hard feelings, but if they have doubts about it was better for them to go back… I looked towards Hannah wanting to see her reaction. I could see her in deep thoughts, but she nodded to herself, and her doubtful eyes were transformed into ones filled with determination.

I waited for a few seconds for them to decide if they are willing to both risk their lives and take others lives before starting. Two people left but those who remained were entirely focused as they understood the danger they will be facing.

The class started with a light warm-up, and an exhibition for them to understand the style. For the demonstration I called some people that came to the last class, that way was easier to perform and show that anyone who trains hard can use the techniques that I was about to teach them.

The first part of the training was defense, you can't kill anyone if you are dead. Ground fighting took a good portion since most beast will try to tackle and get on top of you.

The class went smoothly as they fought in pairs and I walked around correcting their movements.

I encouraged them constantly, and in a break in between, I was asked about my experience in battle. I told them about the escape from the Aurora clinic and the battle on the east edge. I also warned them that even if they haven't seen them, there are also humans that are equally dangerous now.

The second part of the class was about identifying weakness and ways to attack them. Some of the people were more reluctant to try this stuff in their partners. Because of the types of movements that were done, it was expected to have a couple of injuries, but I could heal those right away.

After three hours of training, most of them were barely able to stand up.

"This is the end of the class I hope that you never have to find a situation where you are unarmed trying to fight back, but if it happens, I hope that the tools that I gave you here today are enough for you to return safely.

A couple of advice for when you are out there… Always be aware of your surroundings, despite the size never look down on an enemy, Fight with all you got… extending a fight usually isn't the best answer if you are in a pitch. Finally, remember that you will be on a team… protect each other's back and don't fail your partners. You can leave and go to your next class or do whatever you need to do. Class dismissed."

Some rustle could be heard as they got ready to leave. People gave me their farewells and thanked me as I left the place.

When I got outside, I took a couple of steps and appeared at the doors of the school.

'Dante, Is everything ready?'

'Yes, he is in room 207, sleeping and with the leg they cut.'

I went inside. The reason I was calm and went along with the class was that after I talked with Dante. The medical wastes haven't been burnt yet. It took them some time, but they were able to find the decaying leg.

I asked for them to sleep him, this was an experiment and being with his leg could create a trauma despite I succeed or not.

If Hannah comes today, the staff had to tell her that he is resting and try to prevent her from seeing him. With all the training she will be so tired that I doubt she complains too much.

I moved to the room where a nurse was keeping an eye on him.

I looked around and found the leg inside a bag in an awful state… I hope it works…

I don't know how this ability work when there are amputations. I doubt that it would be able to create a leg from nothing, so I plan to go back first to the point where they cut his leg. If I'm able to re-attach it, I will see what method I will use to heal him, but if it doesn't work it will be no change, and he would be just like it was before… probably there would be some point where my skill was enough to make the leg reappear, but this was not the case for now.

I waited for the nurse to finish preparing him, this ability was a secret only four people knew about it in the hospital. A neurosurgeon who was in charge of Ines, Dr. Rehn, and two nurses, one of them was Isabella, and the other was the one that was taking care of him now.

"Thank you Maggie, is he ready?"

"Yes, he will be sleeping for a full day after this… are you sure you can do this?"

"Not really… but it's worth the shot, and I don't lose anything by trying."

She nodded with a smile.

"I hope it works… I heard that you wanted to take a look at the other patient with the bacteria?"

"Yes, after I do this… can you gather their charts and see what you have on the infection in the meantime?"

"Gladly… I hope you can help them…"

"Me too, now I'm going to start, so see you later."

"Bye Spencer."

The nurse quickly left the room to leave me to work on Hannah's dad… now that I think of I have no idea how is he called.

First I took the leg and used detoxification and tried to clean it a little.

And then reality started to change…

Rules are meant to be Broken

In my mind I could feel the universe absolutes standing there surrounding me, oppressing me and telling me how things are… at least that's what the wish…

In this state I can disagree with them if I want… all of them are ready to be bent, changed, broken or ignored.

They are putting a hell of a fight… no one wants to be the one changed… and since I don't understand them, I can't find their weakness… I don't know how to change them, or the right way to break them…

But there is a law that I was familiar with.

The reality noticed what I was doing… it was looking at each and every one of my movements ready to protect the laws that I was eyeing… but deep inside they know that there is nothing they could do.

What's the rush?

Future is going to stay there.

It doesn't matter how much you try to catch up.

You don't need to make thing decay.

You don't need to be so relentless.

You don't need to always go forward.

You can rest and stop for a while…

You can go back if that is what you want…

The universe will stay the same despite any of this occur or not … nothing is going to change.

The Time law that ruled this room trembled as if wanted to change…

It rebelled against the universe and stopped his advance.

"Let's go back to yesterday…"

Unless you have a time-related power, some way to feel the reality, or another type of strong detection power, it would be as if nothing changed.

I was right there was no harm…

Even if you stop nothing changed…

This place wasn't following the same rules than the rest of the world obeys… at least not anymore.

Here thing like cut legs don't decay but recover…

Here new scars don't close but open…

Here Humans are going to how they were in the past…

These were the rules now in this room, the time doesn't affect the humans as it should…
