Evil Husband, Glutton Wife: Buy Miss Piggy, Get Free Little Buns

[Status: COMPLETED] “Feng Tianyi! Your brother destroyed my Tang family! Is there anything good about your family?” “En. Can’t you see how our good looking genes are passed on to our children? As for the Feng family’s debt, I will pay you.” He said nonchalantly. Tang Moyu scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest. “How will you pay for it?” “How about I repay you with my body?” “...” So shameless! The man sitting on his wheelchair burst into a round of laughter seeing her ugly expression. “Miss Tang, it’s no point pretending you haven’t seen it since you practically climbed on my bed and took advantage of me.” Five years ago, Tang Moyu was the empress of the business world and was at the peak of her career before she was reduced to nothing when her fiance fell in love with another woman. That was okay since there was no love between her and Feng Tianhua, but who would have thought that this ‘Cinderella’ was a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Then there’s Feng Tianyi, the infamous successor of the Feng family, a critically acclaimed author who constantly rocked the bestselling list with his books. Rumors say that he was hot-headed and temperamental. He was so ruthless, that neither men nor women wanted his company. The rumors even say that his face was so handsome and out of this world. He was practically a god amongst men. It was a pity that he was crippled. The two were never meant to meet again, but a pair of sweet little buns intervened. “Uncle, we don’t have money to pay you for damages.” The elder Little Bun said. “My manuscripts are invaluable,” This handsome uncle replied with amusement. “Uncle, if you don’t mind, can we pay with our Mommy? She’s also invaluable.” And so the pair of sweet little buns and the handsome uncle entered an agreement but who would have thought that the woman in question was an ice-cold queen from hell who had a weird affinity with sweets? —— Editor/proofreader: ninaviews Book cover: Bizzybiin / copyright 2020 anjeeriku

Quite Stupid, Are You? (3)

"Do you understand now the gravity of the situation, Mr. Xu? Honestly, this outcome isn't really surprising and I don't think this is the first time you've tested your wife's patience. If I could be bold to say, this was the last straw that broke the camel's back. She's your wife, and yet why do I feel like you're practically strangers to each other?" Tang Moyu said.

Xu Wenyang flinched at that. True, he and Qian barely saw each other for the past few months and hadn't really spent quality time with each other. Even their anniversary celebration was messed up because of him.

Silence engulfed the two of them as Xu Wenyang finally realized where he went wrong.

Shit. He really messed up this time.

"I'm not sure what you are up to Mr. Xu but can't we just stick to business? I'll be attending the women's banquet tomorrow, but I cannot promise you anything. As for our deal, please consider my proposal." Tang Moyu didn't give him a chance to push his proposition. She might be desperate, but love and dating were uncharted territories she had yet dared to cross.

"Then, I apologize for making you uncomfortable with my request, Miss Tang. Rest assured, our company will collaborate with you on this partnership. I hope you'll be able to meet the target based on the timeline. As for my wife…" He paused, "I'm not sure how I should make up to her."

Tang Moyu thought that people really tend to lose some brain cells when they fall in love. For someone as smart as Xu Wenyang, how can he not know how to please his wife?

"Then maybe you should start by being a husband, a real husband for her this time. Forget your ex, forget your family issues. Your uncle and Meng Yanran are already at the right age and mind to know how to deal with their own problems. Unless you really don't care about your wife, please sign the divorce papers and let her be happy on her own. Who knows if there will come a day when she would meet a man who'll put her happiness first before the rest."

"But I don't want to lose her…" The thought of Lin Qianrou being with another man due to his incompetence annoyed him.

"Then work harder to save your marriage." Tang Moyu was starting to understand why his wife wanted to leave him. It wasn't enough that he loved his wife, he also needed to work it out and be as invested in their relationship as she was.

Xu Wenyang gave it a thought and nodded. It was time for him to change his methods.

"Anyway, my offer still stands. If you are able to convince Qian, I'll double my investment." He told her, much to the empress's annoyance.

Tang Moyu scowled but didn't say anything.

Their meeting ended without any issues and Tang Moyu was glad that she didn't need to spend more time with Xu Wenyang anymore. While she was aware that his cooperation was vital to make progress in her plans, she was not in line with his thoughts and views on priorities.

Meanwhile, Xu Wenyang also left and slid into his car feeling defeated. He would be going back to an empty home again, where he knew he wouldn't be able to see Qian. Was this what his wife felt when he was always at work? When he was always away and busy to come home?

His heart never felt this kind of pain before meeting Lin Qianrou. No matter how hard he tried to bury himself with work, his thoughts would always end with her and it was enough to drive him insane.

Was she missing him as much as he felt for her? Was she doing well without him? Because now, he regretted not paying more attention to her when he had the chance.

He checked his phone for the umpteenth time today, hoping he would see one of her messages, but there was none. He was tempted to drive to Li Meili's place to only take a glimpse of her, but no, he knew that he wouldn't be content with just seeing her. He needed her back. He wanted her back.

For once, he was scared. He was scared that he wouldn't be able to convince Lin Qianrou to stay with him. What else should he do to let her know that she was the only woman in his life and that he and Meng Yanran were long done?

He had showered her with luxury and extravagance, something he knew all women dreamed of, especially for Qian who wasn't born into a wealthy family. But now when he thought of it, why was her face always distorted with some kind of displeasure whenever he gave her something? Didn't she like them? He felt at a loss thinking of the things he did that he didn't know was wrong. He was truly losing her and he was helpless to stop it from happening.

His stomach grumbled from hunger. Xu Wenyang didn't have an appetite to eat these days. He didn't have lunch prior to meeting Tang Moyu, and it was starting to make him feel dizzy. Rubbing his temple, he told the driver to drive home as he didn't have the energy to finish his to-do list for the day after his meeting with Tang Moyu.

For the first time since forever, Xu Wenyang came home earlier than before. He didn't come home past midnight, which was his usual routine. He'd eaten his dinner alone, did his nightly routine before the reality reminded him once again that Qian wouldn't be there in their bed, waiting for him.

Was this the kind of life he would have to endure for the rest of his life once their divorce was finalized? Xu Wenyang didn't think he would live without Lin Qianrou and it made sense to him now why she was furious.

If Tang Moyu hadn't knocked some sense into his head, he wouldn't have understood where Qian was coming from.

No, it was probably not too late for him to make it up to her. He would grovel for forgiveness if that was what Lin Qianrou wanted from him, as long as she wouldn't leave him anymore.
