Will Be A Good Father

"You should sleep! It is late." he looked away from his file but no matter how much he looked, he could not understand a single word. The words just kept swirling like water.

"I.. I am sorry, father.`` She should have understood that her father did not like to talk about her mother, though everyone said that they love each other a lot.

"Don't be! I am not a good father, anyway." he mustered softly, when her heart stirred. The voice was warm, just like the blanks on a cold rainy day. 

It touched her heart and made her relax. 

"Then be one! I do not want to die again in a cold room where no one would come to see me bleeding.

I do not want to live a desolate life that is even worse!" his eyes flickered when he raised his head.

She was talking like she had already died once. She could see the questions forming in his eyes but shook her head.
