Everybody's system

The point of a system is supposed to be to make the user the strongest right? unfortunately for our protagonist this does not seem to be the case, as everybody gets one, and his seems to be garbage. This is my first original work, I got slightly upset at all the system novels that set up a slow gain of power, then let the protagonist become op within 10 chapters, so I decided to write a system novel of my own where the protagonist can't shake the world with power until he earns it. Enjoy!

A weak man will awaken strong

When I woke up I had a splitting headache, a neck that felt broken, and a new skill, not a skill I had unlocked but a skill that was completely new to the system itself. I didn't read the popup, I was in far too much pain at the time, though it was still open when my eyes opened the second time at the hospital.

Matchmaker (lv1/10): When introducing two other people the user can forcibly improve the chance of a positive first impression by %10 (%10/lvl)

The painkillers kicked back in before he could think much about the skill and he fell back asleep.

When I woke up the third time the window was still open in front of my face, i heard a loud scream and quickly dismissed the popup, I could always look at the skill again later but I needed to see whoever was screaming.

When the window vanished I saw my mom and sister leaning over my hospital bed and frantically screaming for a doctor, I couldn't move my neck but out of a corner of my peripheral vision I saw my dad (my drug addled brain noted that his typical Hawaiian shirt was especially ugly today) fold a newspaper and hit the intercom button on the wall with the back of his fist. My father was always good in a crisis (contrary to his hot pink Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts) his wisdom and strength were both a cut above. my brain pieced together random information as I looked around the room, mom was wearing a business casual dress, looking sharp but approachable, she had an unusual triple Stat build, high int, wis, and charisma with skills related to her job as a teacher. my sister was dressed in her typical style (unfashionable items that somehow combined into a look that would be comfortable on most high fashion runways, possibly a side effect of her investment in charisma) most of her skills focused on her people skills. I looked up at my sister as my brain began demanding more rest "sis, if I die, throw my computer in the river" before I passed out.

Looking at my unconscious form my sister rolled her eyes before looking at my parents "if that asshole can make a joke like that he is out of danger".

the next few times I awoke I was still at the hospital, sometimes surrounded by family, sometimes alone in the dark, a couple times someone tried to feed me to supplement the nutrients from the iv drip. by the fourth time I woke I was fully conscious, the clock in front of me read 4am and I knew I had a few hours until visiting so I decided that I was conscious enough to check in on my stats and skills.

I checked my stats, no changes, I knew that old man was a hallucination! I continued to scroll down the page until I saw a glowing number nestled between the stat and skill section

"Remaining AP: 335"

"Remaining SP: 335"

what in the hell? I had a warning from the old man but even then I couldn't believe my eyes, it was the full amount of skills and stats I was missing because of my low level quests, and on top of that it seemed to also include the rewards from milestones and bonus quests, or at least some of them.

a giggle escaped my throat and within a couple seconds I was full on laughing, at least until the movement jostled my neck and I fell back into unconsciousness.
