Reunion within the Abyss

"GAAAAAAA!"

It came running towards them. Unlike the first monster they encountered, this one was rather sluggish but it had something following it directly from above.

"Wall of Widsummer!"

A blue membrane manifested after Nira shouted out a spell's name. Heck, in the heat of the moment, even a tower master couldn't help but scream their skill's name.

Wooong~

Like a fly stuck on a spider's web, the humanoid monster struggled to be free of its restraints after becoming one with the wall. 

"That should keep him busy for a while. Wall of Widsummer drains both life and energy until it has absorbed enough but before that happens, that monster will be long dead."

Nira confidently explained to Balding-Man. And yet the man she was talking to didn't spare a glance at her, instead was looking directly above.

"Hmm?"

When she looked up, what she saw reminded her of the days when the sun was up in the sky.

"Wait a minute-"
