"Where the hell are we?" Bob was a bit confused.
He just got swallowed by a massive hole in the ground and the next thing he knew was that he's in an unfamiliar place.
"Cluck," Lavanuk replied.
It was a good thing that Lavanuk dived straight into the portal or they would have been separated. Unlike most novels where separation with their trusted aides is great for character development, Bob is just Bob.
"Yea. Well, we should be fine. We can't be that far from where we were, right?" Bob jinxed it.
Observing the place he was teleported to, he realized that he's indoors. No, rather, he was underground.
"Woah," he exclaimed.
The sky was no sky. It was a blanket of rock and a few shiny deposits of minerals here and there. The scenery was completely different from what Bob usually sees.
"Why is it so bright here?" he asked.
