Chapter 278: Introductions End
The figure of the Titan was highlighted by a green light. Avatari said "Please introduce yourself first".
Avatari had told him with a stealth psychic message that he could lie without being detected during the introductions when he arrived. But he had other plans; he wanted to face get over his criminal record instead of hiding.
The Titan nodded and said "The name is Jadesayo Adenusi. I was a communications engineer, then I worked with some terrorists and I became the popular Stealer of Men. You can't see it because of one of my privileges but I am a New World Titan and I have the Grim Reaper job, basically the janitor of the underworld. I have 4 soul glyphs, I make weapons and utilities. I've also made Tier 5 armaments".
Silence filled the island. The monsters were confused at the people's reactions. Only extremely rare monsters like Gog that had human memories could understand this reaction.
Most of the people here could easily hunt down and kill Jade when he was human with their current power. But they didn't know that, Jade was a mystery that their highly improved intelligence still couldn't solve because they didn't have enough information.
Not everyone was in awe, some were enraged. Black energy surged from Camille's body. Some other people manifested terrifying killing intents but Camille and her killing intent was the most powerful among them.
An alien, cold and unfeeling aura spread out drowning all the killing intent in its intensity. Eyes were drawn to the source of the aura and found the eyes on Avatari's body looking at them. She said "Having killing intent is fine. Showing it is also fine. But acting on it will not be to your benefit. We are here to discuss, we will address your grudges in the 'Future of our alliance' discussion but for now don't act.
Avatari retracted her aura and those with killing intent held back their impulse. Avatari nodded for Jade to continue.
"So I encountered a settlement on my way to Abuja. The place looked ok, nice even. The en-code tax was a bit on the high side but it wasn't too bad. The friends that introduced me to the settlement took me to a club. They got drunk but I found out that I couldn't get drunk no matter how much I drank. They took me to a lobby of sorts and pressured me to pick one of the consorts displayed on a paper.
"While I examined the sheet I realized that I had no sex drive. It seemed my race and age had something to do with that. So I picked one of the girls and was escorted to a room. The girl is Mira of course.
"I went to the room and sat down. Since I was currently impotent I decided that discussing was better than revealing it. So I talked with Mira and she told me about her past and it brought a tear to my eye. It was really sad so I was moved. I killed all the people that had wronged her. After that, I trained and mentored her until she evolved".
Seeing that he had finished, Avatari focused on Mira, she was looking at Jade with a surprised and joyful expression. Avatari asked her "Do you know them?"
"Yes, I didn't recognize Jade at first but it's him" Mira answered.
Avatari said "Then what's missing is not how you got here, you did know you were a prostitute, I guess you have the full knowledge about your time as a human. Do you know what happened to you after the WW3 event?"
"No" Mira answered.
"Who interacted with Mira after the WW3 event" A lot more hands were raised this time. Avatari went through all of their testimonies and the picture of a Mythical grade Mira going from America to Nigeria to China and somehow to Korea was pieced together.
The last person that interacted with Mira in China was Zivon who was attending the meeting with the other Fairies. He said "I was the last person to battle with Mira in the competition. Unlike the other weaklings she actually gave me a fight. She was a Rank 27 Gene Lord/ Perfect Chimera at the time. I don't know about her job. I won the fight, obviously and she fainted. I left afterwards so I didn't know what happened to her".
Chao Feng filled in that she had teleported somewhere else after waking up from her fainted state. There was not a lot of time difference between her teleportation and her appearance in Korea. The battle had ended late in the evening and she appeared in Korea in the night from Eun Moon Il's testimony. So about 3 – 4 hours passed with no one knowing where Mira was and during that time she became this.
Everyone was confused, this was an unprecedented event. No one could explain, people could only guess. With the mystery of Mira's transformation proving that it could not be further unraveled Avatari moved on with the introductions.
Jade knew only one location Mira might have access to that no one would find her in, his lab. He questioned Darol who claimed to have seen Mira at the lab and sent a psychic recording of her time there after apologizing for forgetting to tell Jade.
The full picture was now known to Jade as he saw her create the cocoon and metamorphose into her current form. Still he couldn't see all the details, he didn't know why she changed neither did he know why she lost her memories as a result.
The introductions soon finished. Some people had arrived on the island during the introductions so they had to introduce themselves. They weren't really amazing since they couldn't afford to arrive on time for the meeting. Avatari said "Now we discuss the rules of coexistence. The first thing we decide on is the Rights of people in this new era, they are the foundations of the rules we will be giving. Next is the rules we abide by; the 'thou shall and thou shall not's. After that is the punishment for those who break the rules and how we will enforce the rules.
"Now I get that some of you might not be rules type of people and some of you will not agree to some of the decisions that's why I called it rule of coexistence. In your own territories and whatnots you can have your own rules but the Rights are universal and the rules we discuss are for relations and disputes among people coming from different territories and the like. Kinda like international law".
