Fire Kingdom Spring 89’

Penelope stares at the letter in her hands from Rosaline with a smile:

Dear Penelope,

We (Liam and I) are on the way to visit the Fire Kingdom castle.

See you on the 30th of March.

Sincerely with love,

Rosaline

That will be in three days! So much to prepare thinks Penelope feeling a sense of happiness. She clutches the letter close to her chest before storing it in the drawer beside her bed.

The day before the arrival, Lord Fairbanks stands ready at the table in the kitchen. The fires are burning on low in the oven, throwing a warm glow around them. After Lod Larbanks turns around to show his apron around his waist, a laugh escapes from Penelope’s lips. He reaches into the flour bowl. A fistful of flour lands on Penelope’s mahogany hair.

“Hey!” shouts Penelope crossing her arms in defeat.

Lord Fairbanks uncrosses her arms and pulls her closer saying, “Hey, my sweet,” he then kisses her.
