Yun Yanli studied the area but did not find any hideout. There were only some corals, seaweed, green algae, and all kinds of fishes and sea creatures. Without the crystal palace to provide them with refuge, Gu Xijiu and Di Fuyi couldn't stay underwater for an extended period.

Disappointed, he started to doubt his thoughts. Could it be that Gu Xijiu and Di Fuyi were never here? Had they gone to Leguo City instead? Perhaps, the squid man was just a distraction? It would appear that he fell for another trick.

Gu Xijiu had once told him that the most dangerous place would often turn out to be the safest. Hence, they could be hiding in his residence back in Leguo City.
