Large Rock Pilalrs shot out from the ground and covered the smile completely. The ground and stone cage shook as it tried to break free. Gorlo then closed his hand and the cage wall as smashed into each other.

The collision splattered slime goo all through the forest in the fog. Once the rocks sunk back in the ground even the magic stones were crushed.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Such weak prey! Gorlo is upset he even used that on you." The large brown being laughed heartily as Tru was still on edge.

Gorlo looked at Tru with wide eyes when he walked over to him. He completely towered then man in both size and height. He and Tru locked eyes as Tru's red magical energy covered his body.

He readied into a fighting stance when Gorlo's large body bent into a bow. The red energy immediately disappeared as Tru became heavily confused.

"Uh what're you doing there…uh…buddy? Kinda weird to just randomly to that with no words." Tru chuckled nervous when Gorlo fixed his posture.

The large being scratched his head and smiled nervously. "Gorlo is sorry for stealing your prey. Sometimes Gorlo just gets really excited and charge in. I also am sorry for breaking the magic stones too."

Tru looked at Gorlo's face and could see he meant the apology. He waved him off before breaking into a light stretch. "Don't worry about it, I've got a feeling I would've been fighting that thing all night. You did me a favor."

Gorlo let out a silent sigh of relief when the Gobs came and ran up to Gorlo. They were out of breath and fell to the ground panting.

"Why Gorlo leave Gobs?!"

"Yeah Gorlo! Gobs could have died!"

The small green Gobs began berating the massive giant nonstop. Tru chuckled and walked over to Shadow who was coiled up resting in a hollow tree. Tru walked over and sat on the ground by the tree and rested for a bit.

*ding*

'Damn seems like Shadow is stacked' it just needs more training and it'll be come a great partner done the road!' Tru broke out into a maniacal smile as he pondered Shadow's potiential.

After a while he heard silence and looked over and as the Trio approach him. He stood up and Shadow climbed out the tree and slithered towards them. The Gobs immediately jumped back behind Gorlo in fear of the Necrocoil.

Shadow didn't spare them a glance and continued going on deeper into the fog. "Oh don't worry about Shadow, probably be aback soon. Though I assume you wanted to talk or something?"

Tru stepped forward when Gorlo looked him up and down. Gorlo could see Tru's clothes were disshovled and he was covered in dirt.

"Gorlo would like to invite you back to village. There is a feast tonight and plus looks like you may need it. So would you like to come with Gorlo? It's not a far walk."

Gorlo gave him a large innocent smile that he was finding it hard in himself to say no. Plus he looked down at his clothes and saw they could use a change.

"Sure I'll come just let me grab Shadow and we can head out."

"Ok Gorlo and Gobs will wait here for your return." Gorlo sat on the ground as the Gobs watched Tru walk away. Once they saw him he swallowed by the fog they turned to Gorlo.

"Gorlo can't possibly be inviting that human to the Gob King Feast?! What will Chief Rye say?"

"Yes Gob King Feast is for Gobs and king of Gobs! Not a stinky human! Plus that magical beast make Gob feel uneasy.."

Gorlo ignored the complaints of his companions as he sat and waited quietly. He eventually started to fall asleep when the Hob with the club smacked him over the head. It did very little damage and cracked like a egg to a rock.

"Huh? Did tree branch fall in Gorlo?" Gorlo woke up surprised to see shreds of wood on his head. He looked down at the Gobs and could see one was mission their weapon.

"Tyme what happened to stick? Did you hit Gorlo?" Gorlo asked the weapon less Tyme who was standing there with a angry look.

"Yes Gorlo! I had hit you! Gobs don't want that scary thing in the village! What if it attacks us?!"

"AHAHAHAHAHA! Oh Tyme don't worry Gorlo will protect you. Besides what is the worst to happen with Gorlo around?"

Tru walked through the fog when he found Shadow at the battle sight of the Mega Slime. It was eating up all the slime as if it never had a meal. Tru grimaced and shuddered a the image when Shadow started glowing green again.

*ding*

"Elemental Adaptation has be activated. Gaining new skill."

Shadow slithered over to Tru gleefull as it had filled its stomach. It shrank down its size and climbed up on Tru snd fell straight asleep. Tru on the other hand was lost in thought.

'So not only is Shadow a mysterious powerhouse but it also can absorb skills from other magical beasts. Just what can't it do?" Tru stood there for a moment before coming back to reality.

'Tch never mind that just have to keep raising it and see.' Tru walked back to where Gorlo was only to see him arguing again with the Gobs.

Gorlo stood up and saw Tru then walked over to him. Tru looked at Gorlo and the Gobs whom had sour looks on their faces. "Uh is everything ok out here?"

"Yes yes everything fine! Gorlo and Gobs just having a little talk. Though never mind that Gorlo wants to know are you ready to head out? It's getting late."

"Yeah I'm ready whenever you are."

"Hehe great! Gorlo will lead the way. Let's go!" Gorlo took the lead and Tru followed be hind him. The Gobs trailed back as they eyed Tru and Shadow but kept a keen eye on the snake.

"Orega, do you think we can trust this human among gobs?" Tyme asked the dagger wielding Gob as he traveled besides them.

Orega said nothing but kept her eyes traine into Shadow. Her gaze shifted between it and Gorlo periodically. After a brief silence she turned to Tyme.

"It is hard to say Tyme but Gorlo is strong. He is working hard to become next Gob King and replace Chieftain Rye. So I say we have faith in him." Her voice was soft yet firm as she believed in Gorlo and his words.

Tyme on the other hand stayed quiet but kept his eyes on Tru. 'This Gob doesn't trust the human or its weird pet. I will see what SD has to say about this when we get back.'

The group walked for several miles when they gave to a circular grove of large bushes. They entered the bush and saw a mid size village hidden inside it.

"Here we are! Welcome to Gorlo's home, Thorny Gob Village."
