Prologue

The sun is shining and the wind is blowing through the rice fields signifying a new day.

This is just a normal day for the villagers here, harvesting wheat and taking care of plants for living.

Most of them already accepted this mundane life. After all, it's not that they have something special for them.

You can say, this is their "Fate".

"Cao Cao, come back inside, we're having breakfast." A woman's voice called out.

"I'm coming!" Wiping the sweat on his forehead, Cao Cao just finished stacking the wheat and was about to go back to their house for dinner.

"AHHHHHH!" A head splitting headache hit him.

Squirming in pain, Cao Cao can't help but lay in the grass to support himself.

*Pant,Pant,Pant*

Catching up his breath, Cao Cao looked to his palms and muttered.

"H-How? How am I here?" He's Cao Cao, the descendant of the Chinese Warlord Cao Cao, Cao Mengde.

From his memories, he's 6 years old this time and is stuck in poverty.

What bugs him out however, is that it's not like he's transmigrated but like his memories are sealed and were unsealed just now.

"What the hell am I gonna do now?" From his memories, he realizes who he is and what world he's in.

High School DxD, the world where the main character gets power ups by pinching nipples. This is ignoring that he reached ridiculous levels of power in less than a year. Talk about bullshit writing.

That's now what worries him though. It's the fact that he's Cao Cao! you know, the same arrogant dude who lol stomped Issei but got beaten because the plot said so.

Ignoring that his fate will be tied down to the Red Dragon Emperor and the Emperor of Heaven Sakra. The amount of suffering and pain he'll experience is not something that he's looking forward to.

From what he remembers, Cao Cao was sold to human traffickers but escaped and changed his birth name to Cao Cao.

Which began the question, why is his name Cao Cao? From what he remembers, this is what his parents called him since birth.

"Ugh… talking about this, I don't even know if I possess the ultimate Longinus." Cao Cao remembers that Sacred Gears are binded to souls. Seeing that he's not the original Cao Cao, does he still have it?

"Cao Cao, where are you?!" The shouting of her mother snapped back his attention.

"Ah! I'm coming!." Cao Cao hurriedly ran to their house.

He's gonna think about this later, fill his empty stomach first.

"How to do this?" Cao Cao asked himself. After eating, he immediately ran back to the farm. His parents didn't think too much of it, assuming that he's going to continue harvesting wheat.

For a 6 year old, this should have not been the case but because of poverty, they need all the labor they can get. Even a child like him can't escape that.

"How do I summon a Sacred Gear?" From what he remembers, you just need to think of the strongest thing that comes into your mind.

Honestly, this is quite hard for him. He had read a lot of novels so 'strongest' is really vague for him.

He's thinking of saying "Heavenly Lightning, Thousand Tribulations!" Or "Blazing Flaming Lotus!" Something along the lines.

"Forget it, since my Sacred Gear is a spear, I should focus on spear related abilities I know." Cao Cao sighs and takes a sloppy stance.

The strongest spear.

What is the strongest spear he knows?

Taking a deep breath, Cao Cao held his hands up as if he was wielding an actual spear.

The strongest spear….

Closing his eyes, he aimed his throwing posture in the sky.

He does know the strongest spear. A golden spear that's faster than the target, never misses and will destroy the target at all cost!

"Longinuslanze Testament!" Shouting the name. Cao Cao threw his hands at the same time.

It was only for a brief moment but he felt it. Opening his eyes, Cao Cao saw a flying object in the sky. It felt surreal but the object that's flying and soon stabbed itself in the ground finally revealed itself to him.

It was shorter than he remembered, but the dark blue spear with golden decorations spiraling in a double helix pattern says what it is.

The Holy Spear of the Setting Sun, the Ultimate Longinus that stabbed the side of Jesus Christ and was considered to be the first Longinus ever, deriving the concept of other Longunis from its name.

The True Longinus' user of this generation have awakened.

Snapping himself back together, Cao Cao hurriedly walked towards his spear and pulled it back from the ground.

This is it, the True Longinus! He's still the wielder of this number one Sacred Gear.

He's not gonna lie, he was nervous and thinks that there's a high chance he won't awaken it. After all, they are now a different soul, but seeing this, he felt relief wash over him.

In this world, having the Strongest Longinus on your side is both a blessing and a curse, but for him, he'll accept this curse as a means to defend himself.

He's not delusional, even without the spear, as someone who has the bloodline of a hero, he's bound to be involved in the supernatural.

Hence why, possessing this Sacred Gear gives himself some comfort.

"What to do with this?" The original Cao Cao made a mistake of relying on it like a clutch and didn't train enough and was focused on being a leader, thus resulting in his defeat against Issei.

From what he remembers, the original Cao Cao met a monster where he first awakened his Sacred Gear and later met Sun Wukong. After that, he only remembers him being sold by his parents.

Some readers hate him due to his arrogance and childishness, but he personally likes him. Probably because of his experience that shaped him to what he is in the original novel.

Still, that doesn't mean he agrees with what he does. He's not interested in making the same mistake the original did.

"The power to slay gods, hehe." Cao Cao chuckled. It doesn't matter if he holds the ultimate Longinus, a child with a gun is still a child after all. He's gonna need to learn how to wield this and if possible, achieve Balance Break.

Shaking his head, he called back his Sacred Gear and decided to think about this later. It's morning and he still has a job to do.
