Finishing his job, Cao Cao took a break from all the harvesting he did and sat down.
It's the early afternoon, he finished his job quickly so that he can experiment with his Sacred Gear more.
Of course, this is not just for his Longinus but to also train his body. It'll be a shame if he just uses his Longinus all the time and lets people know it.
It may sound stupid that he's withholding the existence of his Longinus but for him, this is the most optimal way to keep your cards, especially as infamous as the True Longinus that is capable of piercing Gods and Satans.
"When will I meet the Monkey King?" Cao Cao asked himself. From what he remembers, it's the Monkey King who would find him but when?
The Victorious Fighting Buddha who did a lot of godly feats before ascending to enlightenment is something that he wants to be associated with and if possible, becomes his disciple.
Teach himself? Maybe he can reach the same level as Cao Cao in the original but it would take a long time. He wants someone who can teach him the ropes and possibly, teach him the knowledge of Senjutsu.
From what he remembers, Sun Wukong said that he'll teach the Longinus Users of the DxD team of the original novel to fight against God Class beings. This shows how insane level powers you'll reach if you have him as a teacher.
Though, you can say it's a plot device by the author to buff the main cast, its still shows that Sun Wukong has the capability to do what he says.
"Senjutsu and Touki…." He lay down in the grass and muttered. Honestly, this is what he's the most confused about. Cao Cao has Sun Wukong AND Indra as his backing. A Deva and a Buddha to be exact.
He would imagine him to have some knowledge over Touki or Senjutsu just by gaining contact with the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, but he never showed such capabilities in the original.
It's also doubtful that Indra wouldn't help Cao Cao in that matter considering how much he values him. He may be arrogant but he's definitely not stupid.
Was it Cao Cao's mindset that is so stubborn that he refuses to learn?
No, he's even willing to use the blood of the original Satans for Sacred Gears.
'What a plot hole." Cao Cao closed his eyes. It doesn't matter now. For him, what the original did wouldn't affect how he will experiment with his power.
Magic, Sacred Gear, and Senjutsu. He'll learn it all.
For now, train and train.

After resting, Cao Cao decided to go to the forest. This is considered to be the best training spot for him.
As a 6 yr old kid, this is definitely weird if someone were to see him. But then again, who cares about them?
"First, learn how to wield a spear." Cao Cao summoned his Longinus and took a sloppy stance.
He needs to learn this. The original is considered to be one of the most talented humans in the series, if not the most talented.
If the original Cao Cao can do it through a self taught method. Someone like him, who both has the foreknowledge and blood of the Chinese Warlord can do the same, if not better.
Taking a deep breath, he proceeds to go with the basics. Stab, twist and parry.
He isn't a master spear man and can only rely on those spear techniques he has watched.
Stab, twist and parry. Repeat over and over.
Cao Cao who now entered the state of extreme focus felt his stance more stable. Although it wasn't much, compared to his stance earlier. It was still a noticeable improvement.
Is it because of the blood of his predecessor? He did remember that the blood of a hero coursing through your veins can make you more talented compared to other humans.
It also makes you inherit the traits of your predecessor. In this case, Cao Mengde's talent in martial arts and leadership.
Shaking his head, he decided to focus and continue his training.
Dedicating his effort and entering a state of extreme focus. Cao Cao failed to notice the passage of time until it hit dark.
*Pant.Pant.Pant*
Calming his breath down, Cao Cao called back his spear and lay down in the tree.
For some reason, he didn't feel fatigue but once he stopped his training, exhaustion hit him.
"I don't know if I should be thankful or not." Finally catching his breath down. Cao Cao looked at his palms which are now covered with calouses.
It hurts, his legs are killing him but he needs to do this. Only through intense training can the body strengthen.
"It's night, I should go back before they look for me." He doesn't want to expose his training grounds.
Coming to conclusion, Cao Cao picked himself up and did a final stretch before running back to their house.

Few months have passed, and Cao Cao continued his normal routine. Harvesting wheat in the morning, and training from noon until night.
It wasn't just spear wielding but all martial arts that he's aware of. He also did some exercises to increase his stamina and endurance.
Throughout these few months, aside from improving his skills and entering 7 years of age. He also found something that he'd never thought he'd encounter yet.
A monster.
And no, it's not just a monster like a stray devil or whatnot, but an actual monster. He guesses it's related to their home country China. Just like how Japan has Youkais.
He finds it weird that a monster appeared suddenly in the forest, but he guesses it's probably related to his Sacred Gear. Just like how Stand users attract fellow Stand users, Sacred Gear wielders are also bound to be related to the supernatural world.
And this is the time where he'll have his first real fight.
He didn't attack it directly or anything. That would be stupid. Even if he possesses the Ultimate Longinus and has some decent training. He doesn't believe that a monster with superior physical abilities compared to him will just let himself be stabbed.
The monster is a cow-like monster, with a human head, six horns and nine eyes.
This should be a Bai Ze, though it's smaller from what he imagined, he guesses that it's probably a young one.
It was eating a wild animal.
Sneaking in the trees and slowly climbing up on top. He decided to perform a sneak attack and finish it off instantly.
Throwing a stone that he picked from the ground and pulling his attention from his meal. Cao Cao decided to sneak up on a branch just below the monster's head.
'Here goes.' He didn't immediately summon his spear but decided to jump down immediately.
The reason he didn't do so was because the monster would feel the enormous holy aura of the spear which would defeat the purpose of the sneak attack.
And just like that, the Bai Ze was clueless and was about to continue munching on his meal until he felt something from above him.
"HAH!" It was too late. Cao Cao already summoned his spear and extended the length, piercing through the head of the monster.
The monster wasn't dead however, despite his fatal injuries, it was still struggling and moving around, wanting to remove the spear from its head. It wasn't deep yet so it still has a chance!
Cao Cao seeing this, retracted the length of the spear and landed on its back before stabbing it again and this time, with a burst of holy and light energy, he completely obliterated the upper body of the monster.
With Cao Cao delivering the finishing blow, the monster lost its vitality and dropped to the ground.
