Limit Break Level Part II

“You’re asking the wrong person, Cal. All our money is with Snow,” the merchant, who was now back in his flower shirt, turned his face to the guild’s vehicle master. Cal paused her gaze there and when Snow looked back, they locked eyes for a while before looking away.

“Is eight billion okay, mage? If you want more, I need to consult the others first,” Snow acted tough.

“Ten,” Cal said with a stern look.

“Nine billion. No more. Take it or leave it,” Snow said and transferred the fund to Cal in a flash. Then she proceeded to give each of them some funds to buy what they deemed interesting. Cal pouted before turning around to leave.

“Wait, mage,” before she could leave, Snow called her once more. When Cal turned back, Snow gave her another billion Gils. “Keep this to buy some hats,” the redhead said as she moved her glasses. Cal opened her eyes wide shyly before turning around and walking quickly into the market district.

“Don’t get lost, kid!” Edward shouted behind her.
