Chapter 4: Mind Power

I closed my eyes and centered my breathing, clearing my mind of all distractions.

There was a sense of familiarity, a comfort born from years of rigorous training, as I embraced the subtle energy that now flowed within me.

The rhythmic hum of the spacepod faded into the background as I focused inward.

I visualized the energy inside my body like a vast, untamed ocean, each wave a manifestation of power waiting to be harnessed.

In this inner world, I would cultivate my mental strength.

With every breath, I pulled the threads of energy tighter, refining my control, disciplining my mind, and sharpening my will. There were no shortcuts—only focus, persistence, and the unyielding desire to transcend my current stage.

As I began to meditate, my muscles gradually relaxed, allowing me to delve deeper into a state of calm. My consciousness expanded, reaching out toward the farthest edges of the universe. My mind was becoming one with the cosmic energy that permeated the void of space, an endless sea of power that flowed like an unseen river through the stars.

I could sense the ebb and flow of this universal energy, the heartbeat of the stars pulsing with life. With each measured breath, I channeled that energy through my being, refining it and making it my own.

An aura began to build around me, a radiant glow of otherworldly starlight that illuminated the interior of the spacepod, casting long shadows in its soft, ethereal light.

Images flooded my mind—memories of battles Vegeta had fought, challenges overcome, and adversities that had tempered him into the warrior he was. His life had been one of endless struggle, a constant fight to prove himself, to stand above all others.

In this heightened state of awareness, I felt my connection to my own inner power deepen. Gradually, I delved further into the depths of my being, tapping into strength that had long lain dormant, waiting to be awakened.

Summoning a trace of my Qi into my hand, I began practicing the Saiyan's energy manipulation techniques.

In the world of Dragon Ball, mastering one's Qi was everything. It wasn't enough to merely possess power—you had to control it, shape it, will it into being. Saiyans, with their natural affinity for combat, were experts at this, their skill determined by talent and class. They could effortlessly form energy into devastating attacks, shaping it into destructive Qi blasts and energy balls capable of immense damage.

I quickly found myself able to control my power level with ease. Just as the humans on Earth had learned to mask their energy signatures, I too learned to conceal mine, suppressing my presence with a mere thought.

With a steady breath, I extended my mind outward, manipulating the energy around me with precision, as though I had inhabited this body for far longer than I had. The sensation of control was exhilarating.

Once I had gained full command of my Qi, I shifted focus to my mental power, ignoring the distractions of the outside world. The meditation continued for what felt days and nights, as I descended deeper into my inner strength.

Harnessing such immense power felt akin to controlling a nuclear fusion reactor. Yet even the strongest reactors couldn't generate the raw energy that now coursed through me. It was a force beyond human comprehension, a vast and infinite well of strength.

It took several days for me to fully acclimate to this new state of being. But once I did, I felt completely at ease within this vessel—this body that had become both a temple and a weapon.

I sat cross-legged in the center of the spacepod, my eyes closed in focused meditation. My power level rose steadily with each passing moment.

I ceased my actions, my hands resting upon the polished surface of the pod. With a single press of a button, I activated the scouter.

Scouters were advanced pieces of technology, designed to detect biological signatures and measure power levels. Originally developed by the Tuffles, the technology had fallen into Frieza's hands after the Saiyans wiped out the Tuffle race. It was now a standard tool for Frieza's forces, and Vegeta, being under his command, naturally possessed one as well.

I pressed the button on the side of the scouter, the device whirring to life as numbers blinked across the interface, quickly calculating my current level.

[Beep... Power Level: 22,000]

A flicker of surprise crossed my face as I read the display.

"22,000," I muttered to myself, the number flashing before my eyes. At this level, few fighters in the universe could stand as my equal. This power exceeded what Vegeta originally had at this point. According to my memories, Vegeta's strength during his initial time on Earth had been significantly lower.

To have increased my power by 4,000 in such a short time was remarkable—a feat that would have taken an ordinary Saiyan a lifetime of battle and near-death experiences to achieve.

Not only had my physical power grown, but my soul power had also increased dramatically, granting my attacks an extra edge, enhancing both their precision and lethality.

I closed my eyes, centering my thoughts on the source of this strength, feeling the well of energy that lay within me. A sense of satisfaction washed over me. When I opened my eyes again, a smirk tugged at the corners of my lips.

"This power level will be more than enough to accomplish my goals."

It would take several months for my spacepod to reach its destination. During that time, I planned to continue my meditation, pushing my power even further.

Inside the sleek confines of the pod, I established a disciplined routine of meditation and training. Each day, I spent hours honing my mind and body, refining my energy and sharpening my focus.

As the days stretched into weeks, I pushed myself to the limit in preparation for the fusion with the A.I. chip, knowing that the fusion would elevate my abilities to an even greater level.
