Chapter 76 Dong Dong Bibi Dong

Hun Yu landed softly on the lush, green grass of one of the floating islands, still holding the injured Bo Saixi in his arms. The air here felt different—lighter and filled with an energy that seemed to rejuvenate his spirit. He gently laid Bo Saixi down, her face pale and her hands trembling from the battle's aftermath.

Iridescent skies shifted in colors, floating islands hovered gently in the air, and the distant sound of waterfalls created a soothing ambiance. Despite the beauty, Hun Yu knew they had little time to waste. Bo Saixi's injuries were severe, and they needed to find a way to heal her quickly.

"Hang in there, Bo Zhi," he whispered, brushing a strand of hair from her face. Her breathing was shallow, but she managed a weak smile, her eyes opening slightly.

He knew that the dagger he held had immense power, but he needed to find a way to channel it properly to help Bo Saixi. As he contemplated his next move, a gentle yet authoritative voice echoed around them.

"You have entered the realm of the Ancients. State your purpose."

Hun Yu turned, a figure emerged from the shimmering mist. It was an elderly man, his long white hair flowing freely.

He tightened his grip on Bo Saixi's hand. "She is gravely injured, and we were forced to flee here to escape a powerful enemy."

The old man approached. "The dagger you hold possesses great power, but it is not meant for healing. However, this realm is filled with ancient energies that can help her recover."

Hun Yu hesitated, eyeing the old man warily. "Why would you help us? Who are you?"

The old man smiled, a knowing glint in his eyes. "I am the Guardian of the Ancients, preserving the balance of this realm. The energy of the dagger you carry drew me here. Its power is not to be wielded lightly."

Hun Yu tightened his grip on the dagger. "How can I trust you?"

The Guardian nodded, understanding his concern. "Your caution is wise. But you have little choice if you wish to save her. The waters of this realm have healing properties. Trust in them, if not in me."

Hun Yu turned his head down at Bo Saixi, her breathing growing fainter. He knew they had no other options. Reluctantly, he nodded. "Alright, but I'll be watching you."

The old man gestured for Hun Yu to follow, and they carefully carried Bo Saixi deeper into the island. They arrived at a serene clearing with a crystal-clear pool of water at its center. The old man knelt beside the pool, murmuring incantations that made the water glow with a soft, healing light.

"Gently place her in the water," he instructed. Hun Yu complied, lowering Bo Saixi into the pool. As soon as she touched the water, it began to glow brighter, enveloping her in a cocoon of light. Her breathing steadied, and the wounds on her body slowly started to heal.

The old man looked at Hun Yu as if trying to see his depth, but no matter how much he tried, he could not see beyond Hun Yu's physical body. Even the old man became confused; he is the will and ego of this realm, the rules and laws here are decided by him. How can he not be able to look into this mortal man? Interesting, he thought.

He was also curious about the dagger that Hun Yu was holding. This dagger seemed to contain a lot of power; it could tear a space in this realm from outside so easily that even many powerful beings couldn't.

Hun Yu finally decided to inquire about this place. He turned to the old man, knowing he couldn't fully trust him. "What is this place?" he looked around at the beautiful scenery using his senses. "And what are these Ancients you mentioned?"

"Hmm," the old man pondered. "This is a long story. The Ancients were an old race. We used to worship a powerful being, but one day, someone killed that being, and we had no one to worship. This caused everyone to go wild, trying to be the leader of the race. In that internal conflict, many other powerful beings jumped in and made the race almost extinct. Only I survived and found this realm. I merged with it and became the will of this realm."

"You are the first living being who managed to come to this place after thousands of years." Hun Yu also noticed the two small horns on top of the old man's head. Although he looked human, he was not.

"Oh," Hun Yu said, not so surprised. The universe is so big, there should be countless powerful beings and infinite power struggles. And this old man sounds like he is trapped here. Since he said he merged with the realm, then he cannot go outside.

 ...

"Open your eyes," Qian Daoliu told Renxue, who was kneeling in front of the statue of angels. As she opened her eyes, a beam of golden light was released into the sky. The beam was so bright it attracted the attention of the whole city.

In the Pope Hall, Bibi Dong looked at the beam of light and clenched her hand. "You damn Qian Family, just wait," she muttered. She turned back and sat on her seat with a huff. She obviously knew what that light was—it was the test of the Angel God. And there was no doubt who was doing it; it must be her filial daughter.

Inside, Qian Renxue looked at the nine screens floating around her and there was a smile on Qian Daoliu's face.

"Angel level nine test," he said. "A test that generations of chiefs of Spirit Hall have been waiting for is finally here!"

"I don't understand, Grandpa," Renxue said. She obviously had very little knowledge about the god tests and all.

"To become the next chief of Spirit Hall, one needs to pass eight tests, but you have nine. Don't ask me why; I will tell you when the time comes. From now on, focus on completing all nine tests," he said, and then flew away, leaving her there.

Bibi Dong, who was sitting silently, stood up. She walked outside and flew towards the Elder Hall. As she arrived there, walking with Ghost and Yue Guan following her, her steps suddenly stopped.

Her head turned sideways as she looked at a child playing with birds. Just as she looked at the blonde hair of the boy, curious, she walked towards the child. There didn't seem to be anyone around. She looked at the kid who looked like he was 2-3 years old.

A kid in Elder Hall? she thought. It is rare to see; most elders are old and don't have kids, or they are adults, but this...

"Kid, what is your name?" she asked, looking at the kid.

And as she said this, Yunfeng finally noticed Bibi Dong who was standing behind him. As he turned around, he looked at the woman's face. "Wow, sister, who are you? You look so good, as good as my mom," he said.

"Kid, watch your language! This is the Pope!" Yue Guan said.

"Pope?" Yunfeng gave them a confused look.

"You don't know who the Pope is?" Even the two titled Douluo were shocked. They dared not to make a move on this kid because if he can be in Elder Hall, then he must be some elder in elder hall as relative.

Bibi Dong raised her hand, shutting the mouths of the two titled Douluo. "You did not answer my question. What is your name?"

"Um, it is Yunfeng," he paused, "Qian Yunfeng." As the words escaped his mouth, the whole atmosphere fell silent. Ghost Douluo and Yue Guan gave each other a glance, silently standing, and Bibi Dong had a confused expression on her face.

She looked at the two titled Douluo and asked them to leave. As they left, she looked at Yunfeng. "Qian Yunfeng, right? What are your parents' names?" she asked.

"My mom's name is Qian Renxue," he replied.

As Yunfeng did, a ferocious and pleased expression appeared on the face of Bibi Dong. "Bibi Dong, this is a good opportunity. Devour him. If you leave him, he will become the same as Qian Xunji. Destroy the Qian lineage," a voice filled with evil suddenly sounded in the mind of Bibi Dong.

"Shut up! Don't teach me how to do things," she retorted.

"Oh, then Yunfeng, do you know who I am?" she asked.

To this, he shook his head.

"I am the mother of your mother, which means I am your grandmother."

Yunfeng looked at Bibi Dong. Really? This big sister really looks like his mom, then is she his grandmother? A smile appeared on his face. More family! With little hands, he hugged Bibi Dong's leg. "Are you really my grandmother? But you look so young."

Bibi Dong nodded with a smile. Today she just found a treasure. "Do you want to come with me? There are many things you could play with. There is also my disciple; you can play games with her."

Under the tempting words of Bibi Dong, Yunfeng agreed. Just as Bibi Dong was about to leave with Yunfeng, a figure appeared. It was, without a doubt, Golden Crocodile Douluo.

"Bibi Dong, you cannot take him with you," he said.

She knew from the start about the Golden Crocodile hiding in the shadows. "I am not taking him; he is coming with me," she said with a sneer and looked at Yunfeng to tell him.

"Yes, I am going to my grandmother's house. I will be back in a few days," Yunfeng said.

There was a smile of accomplishment on the face of Bibi Dong, and Golden Crocodile also had no choice. Since Qian Daoliu is not here, he cannot make decisions; he can only give warnings.

"Bibi Dong, I may not stop you, but be aware if something happens. You are in Spirit Hall; don't think you can escape."

Although she did not say much, she noted this down. Just wait when the time is right. In the next moment, both Qian Yunfeng and Bibi Dong disappeared, leaving only Golden Crocodile standing there.
