There is a special type of pill called the Blood Congregation Pill that is commonly made after a Racial Invasion by the attackers. It is condensed by a large amount of blood, the more energy contained in the blood the stronger the effect of the pill.
However there are naturally large side effects, the pill contains all the impurities from the blood of the people who are used to produce it. So even a single pill could fill up a Low Rank 1 Warriors body easily by 80%!
But they can be used for breakthroughs, so if a Warrior is stuck then they will definitely take the risk to get one and break through.
This often leads to mortal massacres, just for a single pill.
Samuel honestly wasn't against this practice, he was tempted to do it himself in order to allow multiple Dogs of War to reach the Middle of Rank 1.
However the Government made him change his mind. They are very strict about who can do that, and naturally Samuel doesn't want the government chasing him.
The only people who really kill mortals are Rogue Warriors, and they often have to spend the rest of their lives in danger on the Eternal Battlefield to avoid the Government.
Of course if he comes across some Blood Congregation Pills, Samuel definitely wouldn't turn his nose up on them. After all, they are definitely helpful for him right now.
But the point is, Warriors will do anything for strength. There are countless ways of strengthening yourself on the Eternal Battlefield, Samuel is yet to know a fraction of them.
And Samuel is the same, there's not much he wouldn't do in order to strengthen himself. After all strength is the foundation on this planet and on the Eternal battlefield.
If he isn't strong enough, who knows when a random passing Rank 2 Warrior or higher would just get angry and wipe him out!
Anyway, Samuel returned with another full harvest this time, although the losses were also relatively high.
Samuel also had a new area specially built, another floor in the growing underground facility. Near the tomb, but far enough away from the treasury that it isn't a weak point.
It was a large empty white room, with Eleflare Hide as the protection. But within it, the interior decorations are quite odd. The hall was honestly huge, reaching hundreds of metres in length.
Or around the size of a football field. It had giant shelves shattered everywhere, reaching fifty metres tall easily, each with different compartments.
However the Compartments were labelled 'Low Rank 1 Eleflare Skeletons', 'Middle Rank 1 Eleflare Skeletons' and the names of other beasts and races including humans!
This was the collection of skeletons, each compartment was stacked full with the corpses of countless warriors, some of which the Dogs of War killed, some of which he found, and some of which he scavenged from the battlefield.
There was also a large pit in front of the shelves, that was the mortal skeleton pit. They were valueless, so naturally they weren't treated great. Most of these were found when Samuels Dogs of War were travelling around.
But you never know when they might be valuable so Samuel naturally didn't waste them.
However this room was so large, that even with over a hundred rows of shelves, only half of one was full with corpses in total!
And the pit was easily hundreds of metres deep into the ground, however Samuel had left enough space for multiple layers if needed.
Although the atmosphere in this room was slightly sombre as the Dogs of War loaded the collected bodies into each compartment, every compartment fitting 10-20 Warrior corpses.
But the corpse of the Hippo was so large, that even after the meat and hides were dissected and removed, the skeleton had to have a specially built double compartment for it to fit.
Samuel also looked down the Mortal Skeleton Pit, many of the bones within aren't full corpses. There are scattered bits and pieces or just shards of bone that were picked up.
Honestly Samuel didn't know what purpose could they possibly be used for, but he is aware of talents like Necromancer and Bone Carver in the System Shop, so he thought why not keep it?
And even if they weren't there, bones are still a strong building material, especially for reinforcing walls. And most mortals, under the blessing of living with Spiritual Energy, have stronger bones than Mortals did on earth.
This makes them comparable to woods and even some stones!
And Samuel had even heard of craftsmen who make armour out of bones!
Then the rest of the resources were sent to various floors in the Treasury, and the sets of armour collected were distributed between the warriors.
Now Samuels Dogs of War were finally starting to become active, at least in the Eternal Battlefield. While the Eleflares were invading, many of Samuels dogs of war had to hide to prevent drawing attention.
Even splitting into three organisations only allowed for around 300 Warriors to fight at a time. That's nothing compared to the nearing 2,000 Warriors Samuel has including the second generation!
The second generation of Dogs of War has easily grown to around 3,000 although only a thousand have reached the practice age.
But now the Dogs of War need to go to the Eternal Battlefield. Samuels supplies through purchasing aren't enough to supply raising another 2,000 children into warriors.
Not only do they need common herbs for breakfast, dinner and lunch, he wants to give them the opportunities to get Beast meat for dinner. This will build a steady foundation allowing for a future breakthrough into Middle Rank 1 or at least stronger than rogue warriors.
But he is relying on Eleflare meat, and the previously saved herbs right now. And many children are missing out on good resources. Obviously they aren't starving, they just lack the spiritual herbs.
Samuel also did a comparison, children who have enough herbs and beast meat every day practice 30% faster than those who don't. And the impurities they collect is at least 10% less than their counterparts.
Although it isn't guaranteed that they can break through to Middle Rank 1, with enough accumulation they have a much higher chance!
