A Sense of Pride

Liu Yifei had been following Houseman's work for a long time and had read many of his papers, finding them awe-inspiring. 

Houseman's innovative ideas and marvelous surgical techniques were considered astounding in the medical field. 

Liu Yifei believed that he was an extraordinary medical genius who would undoubtedly leave his name in history. Many surgical techniques were already named after Houseman.

However, now that Wang Chao claimed to be Houseman's master, she couldn't believe it. Despite acknowledging Wang Chao's impressive medical skills, she still regarded Houseman as superior.

"I really am his master. Houseman used to learn surgery from me," Wang Chao explained.

"Brother Wang, seriously, stop joking with something like this," Liu Yifei's expression turned serious, feeling uncomfortable.

In her eyes, Houseman was like a godly figure, and Wang Chao's joke seemed like a mockery of him.
