Xiao Tian directly went to library after packing his stuff. Previously, he had permission from principal since being an alchemist is noble profession even rare to have such talent. So, he encouraged him but not now , he's sure he won't have such luck . His work hours will be back to normal soon. It is better to get done with it now.

Just as expected , the vice-principal Ye xen made him back to normal but Xiao Tian did notice look of dissapointment for a second then , it went to 'as expected' look.

The night when he returned home, he was assaulted with questions by Meirong.

Meirong : Xiao Tian , what happened? why did the alchemy association expelled a Prodigy like you!! Let's talk to them now , come on!!!

It took sometime for Meirong to calm down . Xiao Tian finally asked.

Xiao Tain : How the hell did you know that alchemy association expelled me?

Meirong: I heard from gossip near commercial area.

Meirong: Right... Then , I have an idea .Why don't we go to City?

Xiao Tian : Black crystal City?

Meirong: I hailed from Black crystal City , I don't know if it exists now since it wasn't a strong hold back then so, chances are slim . Anyway , I wanna see if any of my descendants still live there or if they died .

Yang xin's P.O.V

Yang xin revised her files and felt relieved . She managed to make her day more productive . Now with her calm mind , she remembered her expelling Xiao Tian. Although he is indeed incompetent , she mustn't have been that harsh .

It's not like he is important figure, he is having his own troubles just like her.

Yang xin : Forget it , he'll be alright . He's just another unlucky kid.

~Third person P.O.V.~

It took Xiao Tian one week to complete his preparations . He decided to search for the ruin he marked previously if he didn't find anything in Black crystal City .

In the night time , a blurry ghostly figure travelled through the streets of Glory city yet no one noticed it.

Xiao Tian prepared an Invisiblility cloak with rest over the materials he used for Meirong , he hung blades inside his cloak. His mystique eyes along with dagger and Invisiblility cloak is a powerful combination. His physique being equal to Black gold rank expert helps him too.So,he is confident this time.

Mei Rong just sat on his shoulders conserving her energy .

Soon , they stepped out of Glory city and entered the deep forest .

Xiao Tian: so, do you have any landmark?

Xiao Tian took out a map and showed it to her . He had the entire map of Divine continent in his mind from reading all the books. It was easy for hin create his own map .

Mei Rong : Colour me surprise , even in my times ,such a clear map isn't available and oh my , I didn't expect Glory city to be near Black crystal City but why did you label it as X mark..

Xiao Tian : What are you talking about...

Xiao Tian : Goddess Meirong , I think your descendants are no more

MeiRong : ... Sigh, I guess it is to be expected.

Meirong and Xiao Tian continued their journey , Dark ruins being near by Glory city made their journey short.

They reached Dark ruins in four days . Xiao Tian sensed many Musket Barebacks , which are buffalo's but demonic in nature. They are ludicrously strong but weakness is , they always charge. They are not threat by themselves since we can just dodge attack but in a pack, they can easily overwhelm someone . Even getting hit from a Bronze rank Musket bareback feels like getting hit by a Gold rank fighter .

He relayed the information he had on them to Meirong and asked her to use her power.

Meirong flew into air and used her power of law making them extremely drowsy and healing all of their wounds which will give them a comforting feeling erasing any sense of danger , all the demon beasts in the ruins went into deep slumber .

This is one of the abilities of Law of holy-light. The holders spreads Gentle aura making others feel like in heaven and drop their defences rejuvenating them at the same time but to cultivate this kind of law , the Cultivator must have same mentality.

This is one of the reasons Xiao Tian at the least talks and is casually open with Meirong , if you want to cultivate power of law ,you have to be accepted by law itself , he is a cheater so, it doesn't apply to him but to others, it does . He studied about the law of holy light and knows the Abilities granted by it and the conditions needed to be accepted by such law.

He removed his cloak and appeared on top of a building and started moving towards the city lord's mansion which is in center of the city.

Meirong was once again amazed by Xiao Tian but this time Tian's foot work surprised her. He is so nimble and fast with his footwork, if she couldn't follow his movements, she would have thought Xiao Tian is Teleporting.

Landing on the top of the city lord's building , He entered it from the balcony while , Meirong landed on his shoulder.

Meirong: Everytime you surprise me with something new , little brother.

Meirong: Yes , it is nimble yet extremely silent . I could only follow your movements but I didn't hear any sound.

Xiao Tian Didn't put much thought into it . He activated his Mystic eyes and saw many weak spots , throwing his knives at the traps same time with enough force to cut through the lines.

Most of the traps are destroyed but some activated . Multiple arrows and weapons were launched but were broken by Tian who used his knives to destroy them using the same trick.

Meirong watched all this with fascination but now she's numb to his tricks and surprises Tian pulls off .

Meirong: You could have avoided them simply, instead of aiming for them.
