Ever since he was born, he had been treated differently from the other kids at school. It didn't stop at school either, on the streets, he would get stared at.
Being too young to understand why they stared, he just assumed he looked good. Being born in a country where 0.1% of the population is black, it was weird seeing him walk the streets.
After school one day, his dad picked him up from school. His dad was also black which made their father and son bond even stronger. While driving home, they struck up a conversation about school to pass the time.
When they got back home, Izuku got out while his dad stayed in the car. Confused about why he wasn't coming, his dad told him: "Go inside, tell your mother I went to get some milk,"
Not thinking anything of it, Izuku complied as his dad went off to get milk, or so he thought.
"Mom, dad said that he was going to the store to get milk," Deku told his mother as he entered the house.
"Oh, ok," Inko responded not thinking anything of it.
As the day passed, Inko began to get worried about Hisashi. The market was only a few miles away from their house, so it shouldn't take this long.
Both Midoriya and Inko began to worry about him, shortly after nightfall, she filed a missing person report. Turns out, that Hisashi stated that he wasn't missing, just gone.
After hearing the news, Deku felt the ultimate betrayal. The one he looked up to was just gone in a matter of hours. Did he not care for him and his mom?
After that day, Inko fell into depression. Not paying too much attention to Izuku, but she still did her motherly duties.
Seeing his mom, acting differently towards him, made him believe that he was the problem. Thinking about it for too long, he developed something.
Not a quirk, more like an attribute: [Enhanced Ignorance]
Soon after, Deku went to a new preschool, where he met Bakugo. Now, Bakugo had yet to awaken his quirk, so he wasn't as arrogant.
Walking into the classroom, Izuku introduced himself. The other stared at him, seeing the melanin in his skin. Bakugo then walked up to him and said:
"My name is Bakugo, by the way, do you have a mutation quirk?"
"No...? My quirk hasn't awakened yet," Deku answered.
"Oh, I thought it was because of your skin. It looks weird but cool!" Bakugo said, starting the friendship between them.
-1 year later-
-At the quirk doctor-
Inko hadn't really been being a mother to Deku, leaving him to do things on his own, until he went over to Bakugo's house. Meeting Mitsuki, he thought she was a beautiful woman who would treat him like a son.
When he didn't want to go home, he would go to Mitsuki's house and chill with her. Her helping him with homework and other things like that.
A few days ago, Bakugo had awakened his quirk and got cocky real quick from his goons sucking him off. From everyone having his dick so far down their throats, praising him for having such an amazing quirk, it triggered a superiority complex.
Deku saw Bakugo bullying some kid and he went over there to stop him, despite not awakening his quirk.
"Yo!" Deku called out to Bakugo and his goons. "What y'all doing?"
"This nobody over here was looking down on me, so I have to teach him a lesson!" Bakugo said, popping small explosions on his palm.
"Chill with that, even if he was I'm sure he learned his lesson," Deku said, making Bakugo turn toward him.
"Are you looking down on me?" Bakugo asked turning his attention away from the little kid.
"The hell are you talking about?" Izuku asked confused.
Bakugo walked over to Deku, grabbed his shirt, and three his one on the ground. Deku was a little surprised because he didn't think his friend would turn on him as he did.
"You're so useless! Why are you even around you useless, Deku! Yeah, that the name, Deku!" Bakugo said, laughing at Izuku.
Feeling angry boil inside his body, he jumped up and punch Bakugo in the face, sending him into the dirt. His other two friends were shocked at this. They hadn't expected someone to fight back.
With fear coming over them, they ran away. Bakugo stood up holding his cheek. He popped explosions in his hands as he said: "You're dead!"
Because Deku hadn't awoken his quirk, he was at a disadvantage toward Bakugo. Still, he wasn't going to let that stop him.
"Run them hoes!" Deku said as he and Bakugo started to fight.
In the end, they were both bruised and bloody from their fight. Just because he didn't have a quirk, he was still naturally stronger than other kids because of his genetics.
Izuku lost the fight, which angered him. He didn't like losing so that when he started working out. He did light workouts, push-ups, sit-ups, squads, and running.
-At the quirk doctor-
"Miss Midoriya, it seems you're son has a quirk, two to be specific." The quirk doctor said, looking at Inko.
"What are his quirks?" Inko said a little intrigued.
"A creation and regeneration quirk." The doctor said as the quirk names were self-explanatory.
Creation: Only has to know the function and name of said object. Then, he would be able to manifest anything he thinks of.
Regeneration: Can heal minor injuries, but can regrow limbs if trained enough.
As soon as they get home, Deku starts to train his body and quirks. With the regeneration, he would injure himself to train it.
For his creation, he looked online, gaining information about said things. The next day, Deku goes to school and makes candy for the class. This made Bakugo mad seeing how Deku had a cool quirk.
"So lame!" Bakugo called out.
Deku's face darkened hearing his voice. He already held resentment for what he did. He didn't fuck with him, how he used to.
"What you tryna do then?" Izuku asked as the pressure around them thickened.
"You think you're better than me, damn nerd!" Bakugo said, getting up from his chair, walking over to Deku.
Before Bakugo could grab Deku, Deku already had a first coming toward Bakugo's face. The punch landed and sent Bakugo on his ass.
The class erupted in 'Dayums'. Some would say he has a foul mouth, but the way he talked rubbed off on the other kids. Hearing the commotion around the room, Bakugo became a little embarrassed, and that spiked his anger.
He put his hand forward to pop explosions toward Izuku's body. The explosion exploded on his chest, burning his clothes and leaving a small burn mark.
"Ha! How does that feel, Deku?!" Bakugo asked laughing seeing he landed a hit on Izuku.
At a slow but visible rate, his wound started to heal. Bakugo's smile faded seeing him heal himself. Deku gave him a sadistic smirk as he began to trade blows with Bakugo.
While Bakugo was using his quirk, Deku was using nothing but his hands. He thought that using his quirk against him would be a waste.
While trying to rip each other's head off, the teacher came back because of the commotion. She saw Izuku and Bakugo going at it. She broke up the two and called their mothers.
When their mothers arrived at the school, Mitsuki was in shock, seeing how bruised the boys were. She was even more confused why her boys were fighting and to such a degree.
After neither one of them, would tell why they were fighting, they were sent home. Inko seemed not to care which Mitsuki saw.
She pitted Deku because he lost his father, now losing his mother. Her friendship with Inko was faltering slowly but surely.
