"Make sure that he is not escaping. I can't be here for long." Pierce informed the guards.
"Yes, sir."
Pierce turned back to check on the man who was passed out on the chair, this time he was untied. Pierce had done everything to make sure it would be impossible for the other man to run. He was not taking chances that day no matter what. He had waited for this day for centuries, the day he saw his parent's lifeless bodies. The feeling of being helpless and watching them burn to ashes, Pierce had it fixed in his mind. He had to take revenge and give them peace.
Just as Pierce left, the guards walked into the room to check on the other man. They stared at the man for a while and then at each other, grinning ear to ear.
"Who knew we would get the Devil all for ourselves?" One of them said.
