Diana was bewildered by her looks and couldn't help but stare. She wanted to get closer with her so during lunch she followed Noelle to ask her to eat with her and her friends. Surprisingly she was cornered by the teacher?! That teacher had also made Diana and Noelle stay afterschool to clean. While Diana's friend tease her about this they reluctantly left. Time had passed and the school had became completely quiet, no one was around anymore. While cleaning they heard a growling noise from outside... that growl didn't sound human like. Noelles POV :

While I walked into class a group of friends were already there. It seemed they were having a fun time. Though after I looked in their direction they instantly avoided me. I didn't think much about this, since I was younger many kids didn't like me. I never knew why but it was a hassle to make friends. But that doesn't change the fact that it was lonely at times.

After I was seated a girl with a small frame kept staring at me, it didn't really anger me too much, it felt more like a friendly gaze. After awhile It got uncomfortable so I decided to stare back. This seemed to had scared her as she turned her head. I was taken aback on how pretty she was, she had a cute black clip in her bright pink hair and black earrings. I thought she would look prettier in brighter colors but it was meaningless thinking.

After awhile more students arrived. It was quite displeasing hearing them talk about unsavory rumors so I gave them a cold stare which quickly shut them up. Still a few tried coming up to me with ill intent, I ignored them. I knew kids my age only wanted to befriend me based on my background. I had to experience that the hard way, hearing my friends in middle school talking about how weird I was. A saying "girls support girls" is just a phrase to mask the things girls do to each other behind their backs. After that incident I decided to stop making friends entirely, my skills at talking now deteriorated but I didn't mind.

Suddenly the door opened and a man claiming he was our teacher for the school year had came in. It bore me so I was day dreaming. Suddenly he had asked me to come to the front of the class. Everyone now had their eyes on me. It really ticked me off that I had to go up but the quicker I do it the quicker I can leave. So after exiting my seat I strode to the front.

"Okay class, as you might know Noelle is an exchange student from the UK. Her family is a good friend of the principal so I hope you can all treat her well. Go on Noelle"

Annoying. His sweaty palms are touching my shoulder. How irritating, I could feel his lusting eyes on me which made me feel disgusted. I heard him whisper something under his breath.

*meet me at the stairs at lunch*

After spewing that sentence he slightly pushed me forward to the class. Feeling repulsed I gave out a simple greetings.

"Hello. I am Noelle. Nice to meet you."

Anger seeped out of my mouth because of the thing beside me. After I gave my greetings I fastened my pace to my seat. To ignore the stares I took out my limited edition "Hero-Kun want's to live!" a manga revolving a otaku who was sent into another world, he was an outcast, gaining reputation, and girls. The girls part wasn't really my cup of tea but I did feel like me and the main character shared many similarities. While enjoying my manga I felt a gaze on me that had lasted for awhile now. I couldn't stand it anymore and looked up to my side feeling annoyed.

To my surprise it was the pretty girl from earlier, I suspected her name was Diana. She instantly turned red and jumped back. I found this pretty funny, but before I could say something she was falling out her chair. Without anytime to react I firmly grabbed her hand and supported her back up. She looked a little shocked at my reaction speed but I paid no attention to it.

"Ah… sorry, haha"

I looked at her confused, why was she apologizing? I didn't maul over it though and simply nodded and began reading my manga again.

Lunch finally arrived. I looked up to see Mr. Kan looking at me until he walked out of the class. Following suit I also left the class. While walking I noticed a little bunny following me. I didn't care since I had enough problems as is. After arriving to the stairs Mr. Kan was breathing heavy with sweat coming down his thick forehead. Feeling revolted from the sight I had unconsciously took a few steps back.

"Do you need anything?"

I gave him a cold stare while muttering that sentence. Before I knew it he slammed his hand right next to my face. Forcing me to back up onto the wall. He smelt awful, like sweaty socks. It didn't help that it was still late summer as well, so he smelt terrible.

"Noelle I know how you haven't been able to make any friends… If you'd like I can open the rooftop for you during free time."

Disgusting, I can feel his lubricious stares at my chest. I looked down avoiding his gaze. I couldn't respond to him, goosebumps appeared on my skin. He was inching closer and I tried to move but he grabbed my wrist roughly slamming it against the wall making me instantly freeze up from the pain.

"Hey what are you doing?!"

???

A voice that sounded familiar rang out loudly. It was embarrassing someone seeing me in this position. But I was glad someone had came. I felt a release in my wrist and the plump body which was basically touching me had vanished. Feeling much better I shifted my gaze downwards as I could feel my eyes dampening. Hearing Mr. Kan give a quick excuse, he leaves quickly.

"Hey what happened?? Did he touch you! If he did I'll cut his cucumber off!"

Strange, her voice sounded concern for me. Even though I didn't know her. Hearing her concerns almost made me burst into tears, I didn't register how scared I was. I couldn't control my body flinching.

"Huh? Did I say something wrong?! I swear I will beat up that man! I can't believe he would pin his own student against a wall!"

I didn't know whether to cry or laugh. A girl much smaller than me getting mad just for me and saying such ridiculous things? Mr. Kan was a huge guy probably weighed twice as much as the biggest guy in our class. I couldn't contain my laugh anymore seeing how amusing this situation was. Maybe it was a laugh of relief I couldn't tell which it was.

"Eh…?"

Her confused face made it even more funny though.

"Puahaha! Y-you're so funny! The look on your face. You know you can't take him on he's twice your size."

The tears that were about to roll out earlier had now changed into laughter. I didn't realize how odd it might have seemed from a different perspective. It might have even looked like I was bullying her.

"Why are you laughing! I know I couldn't take him down but… I couldn't just leave someone who might be in danger!"

Mmm, it seemed my laugh made it seem like I was making fun of her. I quickly returned back to my normal face. Thinking on how to reply I tried talking in a more friendly tone.

"And? I didn't ask for help. He can't touch me you know? Stop being an idiot."

The words idiot slipped out my mouth from my nasty habit of making fun of my brother.

"I'm not an idiot! Why was he all over you then?"

I finally realized what I had said but it was too late to correct myself so I just continued with the conversation. Feeling a little nervous since I hadn't spoken to anyone in awhile other than my family.

"You don't need to know that."

I shot a glance at her then after looking at her I registered that she was the girl from earlier that had followed me out the classroom.

"Why did you follow me."

I thought I said this pretty nicely but the look on her face made it seem like I was interrogating her.

"I… wanted to invite you to lunch."

I don't want people watching me eat, so I'll reject her nicely.

"Hah?… No thanks."

Ah… did that sound too mean? I sighed on impulse I hope she doesn't misunderstand.

"For you, throw it out if you want. hmph!"

She handed me a sandwich and walked off. This was the first time anyone has given me a gift! I was extremely happy I was even looking forward to talking to her again. She seemed to be a bit sad for some reason. Not thinking much about it I walked away to eat the sandwich in a secluded area.
