Heating up

[I'm disappointed we didn't get 2K views but don't worry cause I'm still not giving up. And I promise that from today I am going to write daily chapters]

"Why isn't anything going right today?!" He shouted. The king has never been this riled up before. Everyone knew him as the calm and friendly king that never got angry over something no matter how big the matter was and now he got angry more than 4 times that week! All eyes fell on him, waiting for what he would say next. The room fell silent for a moment until 3 royal guards entered the room. They walked towards the king and queen and bowed before one of them spoke. "Your highness, we have been informed that 2 witches would like to speak with the queen." He said. Heather stood up from her throne after a long time of being silent. "Tell me are they Emerald witches?" She asked in a serious tone. The subjects in the court then looked at the guards. "Man things are finally heating up at this oh so boring court." One of the subjects whispered into another's ear. "Yeah, this kingdom has been waiting for something intertaining to happen and now this are burning like hell-fire."the other one replied as they all gazed at the guard. It has been years since the war against Minos and since then, the kingdom has been so peaceful that things were starting to get boring.

The queen waited for the guard's response and he finally spoke. "No your highness they're not Emerald witches. They come from Ruby village." He said. Hundreds of years ago, all gem witches were at war with each other in order to claim the right of being named the most powerful witch species. The war destroyed countless of civilizations including the angel kingdoms. There were different kinds of witches. There were Ruby, Jewel, Diamond and many other gem-based witches at war. When the war ended 2 months later, the Emerald witches were given the title "most powerful witch species". Since then, the other species have tried to take that title away from the Emeralds by killing their princess. The almighty witch queen forbeid this kind of behavior so she cast herself with the most powerful spell that ever existed, the Infinity spell. The spell allows a witch to love forever without dying but in order to cast the spell, the caster must summon up great power to make sure the spell works. No witch had even a quarter of the power needed to cast the spell so the witch queen had to make a huge sacrifice in order to get that power. No one knew what sacrifice she had to give to get the power she has but all witches knew that there was no one who will ever dare to ask her that question. Some witches still try to defeat the Emerald witches today but none has ever succeeded.

"Bring the Ruby witches in." The queen commanded and the guards walked out of the room to get the witches. The queen sat back on her throne and waited. The guards then entered the room with two women. One had long, red hair, Ruby-red eyes that could be seen in a pitch-black room and smooth, white skin. She was wearing a black, loose dress that dragged on the floor behind her and she wore big, black boots with sparkles to decorate the sides. The other woman also had black long hair and ruby red eyes. Her hair was braided in two lines that went from her hair line to her waist. She also wore a black dress and black shoes but her along was a bit darker than the other one. The witches stopped before the queen and king and bowed their heads. "Your highness..please humble us with your greetings." The witch with the braided hair spoke as they both raised their heads to look at the royal couple. Everyone's eyes were glued on the two female witches that had just entered the room. They didn't look like normal Ruby witches. Their eyes were a darker shade of red and their skin was lighter from the other Ruby witches. Were they royal blooded? "Please tell is why you are here." The king asked in a harsh but calm voice. The braided hair witch opened her mouth to talk. "We are here to tell her highness about the Emerald witch that had cast a spell on your daughter. Her name is Crystal and she is the next princess of Emerald witches." She said. The queen's face remained the same as she asked, " Things are getting too uncomfortable in the court. We will continue with this tomorrow. What are your names?" "My name is Saraya and my sister's name is Fedora." The braided haired witch said as her eyes fell on the king. "Tell me your highness, haven't I seen you somewhere at Ruby village?"
