Existence

My...My two best friend's bodies were lying right in front of me, what...what could be worse than this, that could happen to anyone.

With that hopeless feeling I laughed...laughed like crazy, I wanted to cry but my body was not in my control I was just moving where my emotions were taking me.

I looked up in the sky, rain was falling but because of this barrier it wasn't even reaching me. The situation was like I wanted to cry but I couldn't even be able to hide my tears in that rain.

After that traumatic shock I thought of just ending this struggle. I was thinking why...why I was left alive, a guy who couldn't even move to save his friends. Never moved for a fight, I did nothing to protect them then why...why didn't that monster just finished me and put an end to this meaningless journey of three idiot high school students.

Then I heard a whisper in my ears or inside my brain or whatever which was of my friends voice. They said "If you die then who will know our existence?"

I don't know if it was real or just my imagination but that line...that line struck right into me. That's right, if I die then both Ron and Max's memories will be gone forever. As long as I keep on living then...then they will be alive within me.

There must be a reason that I am still alive that I survived. I must move forward with the thinking of that they both are behind me.

I was slowly walking while thinking about all of this. While I was in this shocking state of trauma and confusion a guy with a weird thing on his forehead was seeing me from a distance. We made eye contact and he suddenly started puking all over and he just ran away.

I didn't go after him because I was mentally and physically exhausted. I was still thinking about what I said earlier, that "I will kill anyone who comes in my way of survival."

If this is the case, then I have to kill people who are precious to someone and they have to face the same trauma as I was facing right now.

In this confusion I walked into a part of town which I had never explored before.

I thought that mostly people on this island were just simple and kind but as we know, darkness lurks everywhere and in a situation like this it rises on the surface.

Yeah that's what I saw in front of me and it was horrifying to watch.
