POV Team and reviving people

Ethan's POV: Departure with Dream.

"What a leader we have; he leaves us stranded to go with whoever the human meta in the arena is," Wally said, annoyed because Ethan had left with an unknown subject.

"Wally, don't let anyone ever hear you say that. That person was Dream of the Endless, a very powerful being, and Ethan was forced to go for Debt, especially considering what Dream said to Ethan," Zatanna said, worried about the appearance of an Endless.

"Is it the part that claimed or that of No, because it really is not very expressive?" Robin said.

"The first part is worrisome; Demiurge is somewhat complicated," Zatanna said.

"Come on, it can't be that complicated. It's just a silly nickname," Wally said.

Zatanna looked at him and shook her head. "No, Wally. Demiurgo is a title. In old books, they say that God created everyone, but the closest ones were two angels: Samael Demiurgos and Michael Demiurgos. The first being the most powerful angel, wise and beautiful in the eyes of God. His brother was approaching Samael in power," Zatanna said, recalling the old books and what she had learned in class.

"Great, so one of those two is Ethan's father," Wally said with interest.

Upon hearing this, Conner tensed up, as did Megan and Artemis. "Enough. Let's not pry into Ethan's private life," he said quickly.

"Yes, I think we should stop with this. Ethan is our friend and leader. If he doesn't talk about his family or his life, there's a reason for it," Artemis said.

"Come on, isn't anyone curious about who his father is, how bad angels can be—supposedly—and why they have to go to hell?" Wally said, emphasizing "angels." Conner, Megan, and Artemis all denied being curious about those things.

"Well, actually, Wally, it's because Samael is now known as Lucifer Morningstar, the ruler of Hell, among many other nicknames, after the rebellion in heaven," Zatanna said, surprising some of the team while confirming suspicions for others.

"Seriously, now you bring the Devil into this," Wally said.

"Wally, a few days ago, we were attacked by a demon, and Ethan almost died if it weren't for his uncle," Kaldur reminded him.

"What are the odds that the Devil is Ethan's father?" Wally asked curiously.

"I don't know, but they're close to zero. On Ethan's sacred side, he is very pure. It's like being surrounded by an army of baby puppies and kittens. But they could destroy the Earth with just a snap of their fingers," Zatanna said, recalling the feeling Ethan gave off.

"We've arrived," Megan said, interrupting the conversation as they landed in the parking lot of an abandoned cinema. A cat with red eyes observed them and went into the cinema. Inside, Klarion and Abra Kadabra were torturing Kent Nelson.

"Give us access, and this ends," Abra Kadabra said.

"Never. My friends will come looking for me," Nelson said. Klarion's cat, Teekl, jumped into his arms and meowed.

"So, they've arrived, but it's not the League; it's those brats," Klarion said. Abra took Nelson and put a collar on him that prevented him from speaking and emulated his voice.

The team had searched for the coordinates for Red Tornado.

"Nothing. It's an empty field, not a simple camouflage," Wally said after he finished running.

Artemis saw him and said, "What do you think about an adaptive electronic optical micro combined with phase change?"

"Absolutely, no mystical powers at work," Wally said as Megan and Zatanna approached. Klarion was in the theater, laughing because Abra was using magic to hide.

"Kaldur, the key that Tornado gave us," Zatanna said, and Kaldur looked in his pocket and found it.

"A leap of faith," he said, taking it and lifting it. First, a door appeared, and then a tower. The door opened, and they entered. After a few seconds, they entered with Nelson.

A projection of Nelson appeared. "Greetings. The tower detected that you entered with a key and that you have sacred angelic energy, but I cannot identify you. Please state your purpose and intentions," said the projection. Wally, confident that this was a mere hologram, stepped forward.

"We are true believers. We came to find Doctor Fate," Wally said, and the projection shook its head and disappeared.

The floor disappeared, revealing a large drop with a bottom of lava. Zatanna panicked and chanted, "Irig etativel," making her and Artemis float up. Megan grabbed Wally, since he was the closest. Conner clung to the wall, almost touching the lava, and Kaldur hooked his weapons onto the wall.

Megan was struggling with the heat. "I can't stand the heat. It's too much," she said.

"Those were my favorite boots," Conner said.

"Wally, you had to talk," Artemis said exasperated by the reckless speedster.

"Enough. We have to get out of this situation," Kaldur said, as he was affected by the heat due to his Atlantean physiology, just like Megan.

"Maybe if we tell the true intentions, we came looking for Kent Nelson. His friend Red Tornado sent us because he is worried," Megan suggested. The floor closed, and they descended. Kaldur put his hand on the stone.

"Impossible. This rock should be red hot, but it's icy," Kaldur said.

"Ethan taught me a little about defending myself against magic. Maybe it's a pocket dimension," Conner said, who had learned about magic's weaknesses. Artemis grabbed Wally's shirt.

"Stop trying to impress Megan or Zatanna. You almost got us killed. This is real, and Ethan prepared us for it in the simulators. But you always took it as a joke," Artemis scolded, remembering how Wally always underestimated magical threats in simulations.

Angrily, Wally let go. "When did it become my fault?" he retorted.

"When you lied about being a true believer. Ethan stressed to us that many magical things have the same ability as he does to know the truth in words. And if we ever come across a wish-granting object or a cosmic magical being, we should choose our words carefully," Artemis said, recalling Ethan's teachings.

Wally replied with frustration, "Oh, come on. Another one? Are we going to believe everything Ethan tells us? He always seems to know everything."

"It's common. His grandfather has omniscience, and if he has it, it's scary to think about how much he knows," Zatanna said seriously, surprising everyone. They had never considered Ethan to be omniscient.

"Look, there's a door here," Kaldur said.

"Don't open them; you'll feel the heat's recoil," Wally warned. But Kaldur opened it, and they felt snow and cold.

"Snow. Ethan was right; it's a pocket dimension," Kaldur said.

"Let's go in and move forward," Zatanna said, as they all entered the icy wasteland. After walking for a while, they reached a floating cane. Wally and Artemis both grabbed it at the same time and floated out.

"It's bad; it was the direct exit from this frozen wasteland," Zatanna said.

"Quick, let's find another exit," Kaldur said.

Artemis and Wally found Nelson, who had been kidnapped, leading them to fight Abra. Nelson was injured by Klarion's magic, and Wally had no choice but to put on Nabu's helmet, until Ethan's arrival.

End of POV.

Ethan saw Wally, who had been Nabu's conduit. Nelson groaned and sat up.

"Wow, kid, you're scarier than many villains I've met—threatening to erase Klarion the Witch Boy from existence, even scarier than Jim," Nelson said, laughing.

"I'm in a pretty bad mood. I just got out of hell and I want a soda loaded with ice and a shower. Plus, Jim was just my grandfather's revenge," I said seriously.

"If the bad mood notices, but above all, thank you for bringing Inza," Nelson said, seeing his wife asleep.

"It's something I owed you. As far as I'm concerned, 13 years ago, I know you looked for me for a while," I said, to which Nelson nodded.

"Um, someone explain to me what just happened," Wally said, looking at everyone.

"Well, I just created a human body, brought two souls from heaven, revived two dead people—oh, I forgot something," I said, listing the things I had done.

"Making Klarion wet himself, which was the biggest scare of his life; threatening an Order Lord to erase him from existence; replacing him and forcing him to accept unfavorable terms. Nothing special, by the way, how much longer are you going to stay in that state? The universe wouldn't handle even a sigh from you," Nelson said, looking at me.

"About 2 or 3 minutes, maybe even less. I'm not good in this state, and Grandpa is supporting me," I said, pointing to the golden sky.

"By the way, how long will it take for Klarion to reform?" Nelson said, looking at the area where Klarion had disappeared.

"I have no idea; a few months, maybe. I just sent the cat that's going to make him scream those months in the dimension of chaos. And maybe he broke his spine," I said seriously.

"The worst part is that Batman killed me with a report on why I went to hell and left the team," he said, trembling.

"Sorry, kid. I'd rather visit Lucifer than face Batman. He's less scary," Nelson said, laughing.

"Oh yeah, Nelson, I forgot. Dream came back. That means WISH threw a huge tantrum," I said, with Nelson laughing.

"That's worrying. Desire is a bit extreme and benefited from the loss of sleep," Nelson said. As we descended from the tower, we found Artemis, who had defeated Abra.

"Too much of the Endless, in my opinion, is the worst," I said, as the others joined Artemis at the top.

"Ethan, your journey is over," Artemis said, looking worried.

"Yes, and I'm not going back to that place for a long time. I seriously refrained from killing a plump, inflated, annoying demon," I said, as I couldn't actually kill him. I was the only one fit to guard the door to hell.

With Nelson laughing, "Oh, this is going to hurt," I said, taking the communicator from my garter.

"Archangel to the base," I said, and the Red Tornado appeared on the screen.

"Archangel, situation report," Tornado said.

"Tornado, I need you to contact the League to see if they've completed their missions. Nelson was kidnapped by Klarion and Abra Kadabra. Klarion was sent back to his place, and Abra is trapped," I said.

"Understood. I'll contact the available members," Red Tornado said.

"Batman is going to give me an infinite lecture," I said seriously.

"I don't think so. You had your reasons for being away, and it wasn't an official mission," Kaldur said, looking at me.

"Oh no, not for that. For reviving Nelson's wife," I said, seeing everyone's surprised expressions.

"Wait, you revived someone who died?" Artemis said, surprised.

"Two, if you count me. So, Bats is going to give you double the lecture," Nelson said, happily.

"They're not very comfortable discussing the revival of two people," Artemis whispered.

"Well, angels can, but I didn't know they could create a body out of nothing," Zatanna said, looking at me.

"You get used to it after a while. I saw him rip the spine out of a demon and use it as a spear, in a simulation," Conner said.

After 20 minutes, Batman arrived with Robin, Zatara, Red Tornado, and Wonder Woman.

"Would someone like to explain the current situation to me?" Batman said.

So Kaldur narrated the story of how they reached the tower. "Now, someone explain to me how Inza, who has been dead for 2 years, is alive and having tea?" Batman said, seeing Mrs. Inza enjoying her tea and sitting down, greeting Batman.

"That's my fault. When Tornado gave us the task, a visitor came to the mountain and demanded a debt from me, so I had to take a little trip," I said, recounting events.

"Who entered the base?" Batman said seriously.

"Endless Dream," I said, with Zatara and Diana staring at me.

"Wait, Morpheus? That Morpheus who had been missing for a century?" Giovanni said, worried.

"Yes, it was him. Taken by Roderick Burgess," I said seriously.

"What debt did he force you to pay?" Batman said.

"Entering the Dreaming to escape when he was tortured. The debt was to recover his helmet from Lucifer," I said, with everyone surprised.

They all looked at me. "Well, apparently, you got it back after everything else happened," Batman said.

"I got to the tower and saw Nelson dead, Wally possessed by Nabu. I banished Klarion and negotiated with Nabu to leave Wally's body," I said, not giving too many details.

"Negotiate? Old Nabu was terrified when you threatened to erase him from existence. Besides, you can actually do that," Wally said, exposing me.

"I can, but only if he's in that state. But I preferred to save Nelson and give his wife another chance after what happened years ago," I said calmly, as Batman looked at me.

"I want a report tomorrow morning about your adventure in hell," Batman said before leaving.

"The old man is going to kill me," I said to everyone.

"Don't doubt it," Robin said, laughing. We all got on the bio-ship and headed back to the mountains, except for Zatanna, who went with her father.

We arrived at the base, and each person went home. In the end, Wally took Abra's wand as a souvenir.
