Batman kidnaps me in Gotham

The next day, I woke up early at 2 in the morning. Batman had called on the comm.

"Gather the team; there is a mission for you," Batman said, to which I nodded.

"archangel to team, there's a new mission in Gotham City," I said over the communicator, contacting everyone.

It was 3 in the morning, and I was in Gotham with a cup of coffee. I hated the city; it was so full of evil and bad memories. Batman approached silently from behind.

"Today you will not participate; the leader will be Kalduran," Batman said. I looked at him for a few seconds.

"You think I'm in an unstable state because of my father?" I said, looking at him fixedly.

"No, because I want to see the team's performance without you," Batman said seriously.

"Well, what do I do in the meantime?" I said, knowing that this was going to take a long time.

"Patrol the city, stop any crime you see, and if you see Commissioner Gordon, tell him you're with the League," Batman said. I nodded and took flight, watching the entire city.

After 1 hour, I noticed that the city was in complete chaos: drug sales, weapons, and robberies in every alley. I even stumbled upon two gun sales, one from Black Mask and one from Penguin. They shot at me with every weapon they had on hand; they even had a couple of laser guns. I had to call the police every 5 minutes.

"Seriously, how many are you going to catch? Today, not even Batman moves like you. You're an alien; I experimented on you," said a red-haired man with glasses and a big mustache.

"Quite a few, I lost count after the twelfth thief's arrest, Commissioner. As for what I am, you wouldn't believe me if I told you," I said.

"Twenty-nine thieves, five drug sales, and two arms sales. When you're in Gotham, you think of every child," James Gordon said, lighting a cigarette.

"Well, what I am is half human and half angel," I said, surprising Gordon.

"That's new and funny, an angel in America's most messed-up city," he said with a degree of amusement.

"I think Bats was amused," I said, photographing the scene with the wrist computer.

"Photos from the scene," Gordon said in surprise.

"Bats kicks my ass for the reports of each mission," I said, complaining.

"If you imagine us who have to fill in today," he said, throwing away the cigarette butt.

"Plus those who are missing because Bats either forgot I'm in Gotham or, I don't know. I think I'll go buy something to drink and some sweets," I said, seeing that it was 6:50 in the morning.

"There's a good store a few blocks away; they make great donuts," Gordon said, pointing the way.

"They want me to prepare something for them," I said, looking at his officers who were just as busy.

"Coffee and lots of it," the commissioner growled, as he detached the wings and flew to the store. When I arrived, I kept the wings, and there was a girl my age with red hair buying some things.

I went to see the donuts that the commissioner told me to buy, which I ordered several, along with several coffees. The girl kept buying some things. Two individuals with long coats had entered the door; I saw how they looked at the girl and whispered something to each other. I felt her heartbeat accelerate with adrenaline, and I saw how they reached for something behind their backs.

"I hate Gotham" I said in a sigh and stood behind the girl, watching as they took out two assault rifles and pointed them at her from the hip and fired.

"Close your eyes," I said as I spread my wings and covered her with them. The girl screamed when she heard the shots. After a few seconds, they ran out of ammunition.

"I hate it when innocents get shot," I growled, spreading my wings and pulling the girl behind me as my armor appeared. I aimed punishment at them and fired two shots into their chests, and the men screamed.

I turned and saw the girl. "Miss, are you okay?" I asked, with her looking at me without answering. She snapped her fingers and came out of her stupor.

"Oh, sorry, yes, I think it did happen," she said.

"Well, those two who are screaming were going to kill you for some reason; we should call the police," I said.

"Oh, I have my father's number; he is the commissioner," she said quickly.

"Ah, great, now the old man is going to kill me, Gordon's Daughter," I said with her nodding.

"Okay, then let's wait," I said, while she talked to her father. Five minutes later, she had the department on top of her.

"Now, who's going to tell me what happened?" shouted the commissioner.

"Don't look at me; I went in to buy things, and those two who are screaming like girls were going to shoot your daughter," I said.

A policeman said something to Gordon, and he was enraged. "These two are from Black Mask; they thought that by attacking my family, they would show their power for all the arrests," Gordon said.

"Seriously, how messed up is this city? I was born here. If you know Black Mask's address, I can hit him hard," I said, to which Gordon looked at me.

"We don't know it; it's always moving," Gordon said, to which he observed and sighed.

"I have a way that would force them to tell me the truth," I said, looking at the shooter.

"Then do it, and we'll accompany you to hit him," said the Commissioner, to which I nodded.

I went up to one of the thugs I shot and grabbed his shirt and slapped him.

"Look at me, scum of the world; you can't lie to me. In my name, I order you to answer my questions truthfully. Tell me all of Black Mask's hiding places," I said. The man began to breathe heavily.

"The Black Mask Club, rear," the thug said, to which I released him.

"Okay, I'll go first and destroy the place," I said, cracking my fists.

"Contact Batman; he'll be interested in this," Gordon said. I nodded and took the comlink.

"Archangel to Batman," I said, with Batman attending.

"Report," Batman said.

"I have the location of Black Mask; I attacked Commissioner Gordon's daughter. I ask for instructions on what to do," I said, with Batman impressed.

"Handle it yourself; your information, your case. Solve it," Batman said, cutting off.

"Well, I think that's a yes," Gordon said, to which I nodded and searched the location on the GPS and flew.

Pov Daughter of Gordon

My mother had sent me to buy milk and other things for breakfast. The store was a few meters from home. When I was buying everything, I saw a very handsome young boy come in. He bought donuts and enough coffees to stop a police squad, which I thought was funny. Two other people had entered the store, but it didn't matter to them, since many people came to buy at this store.

The two men, seeing me, drew two assault rifles and pointed them at me, but a voice came from behind me.

"Close your eyes," the melodious voice said. I heard the sound of shots and screamed like never before. I expected the pain, but it never came. With fear, I opened my eyes and saw myself surrounded by white feathers with shades of gold. They were very beautiful. When the clicks of the magazines were heard without ammunition, the boy spread his wings and put me on his back.

On his body emerged a very beautiful armor and two bladed weapons with golden patterns. The boy just said, "I hate when innocent people are shot," and shot twice. The men ran out of the store and began to scream in pain.

The boy turned to see me and said a few words to me, but I got lost in his softly shining golden eyes. He snapped his fingers a few times.

"Oh, sorry, yes, I think it did happen," I said stupidly.

"Well, those two who are screaming were going to kill you for some reason. We should call the police," the boy said calmly.

"Oh, I have my father's number; he is the commissioner," I said quickly.

"Ah, great, now the old man is going to kill me, Gordon's Daughter," said the boy. He seemed to know dad, so I nodded. After a few minutes, dad and several policemen arrived. He discussed something with the boy, and the boy took one of the attackers and said something about how he couldn't lie to him. Then he talked to Batman and left.

"Dad, who was he?" I said, looking at the sky.

"Oh, he leads a team like the League. Batman let him help while he solved that mess," Gordon said.

"He's an alien, like Hawkgirl and Hawkman," I said excitedly.

"No, something a little more complicated, Barbara; he's half angel and half human," Gordon said, seeing his daughter excited.

End Pov Barbara Gordon

Ethan had arrived at the Club; it was full of armed thugs, so I opted to keep it simple and walked through the door, kicking ass and taking shots at every thug. In the center, a man in a suit and a black mask, with a high-caliber pistol, shot at me. Each shot hit the armor without making a dent.

I walked slowly, moving my wings to appear intimidating before the subject, who tried to run. Tired, I shot him several times, making him scream in pain for the sins he had committed. The police arrived and started the raid.

"Boy, you move fast," Gordon said.

"Advantages of being half an angel; now that we're doing it, I'm making him talk about his hiding places," I said.

"We took him to headquarters, and then we threw him into Arkham and closed the door," James Gordon said.

"Well, they want me to question him; he will sing like never before," I said, looking at the Black Mask.

"Go ahead," Gordon said. After questioning him and telling him about all his operations and dispatching them with the commissioner, it was 4 in the afternoon, and he was still in Gotham.
