DC: Parademon

What happens when you are thrown into the wrong world? Was Reincarnation really as worth it as most protagonists make it out to be? This is the story of a man thrown into another world and placed in a nigh-impossible situation. His escape is certain, but shall he rise as we all expect him to? .... I only own my OC and also don't hold this Fan fiction as a standard for DC lore as I will make up most of them to make up for my lack of knowledge in some areas. .... Tests

For the rest of the day, all Maxwell did was to test out the Motherbox. It was a box full of miracles but those miracles wouldn't work if not properly programmed.

He needed to test out every feature embedded into the tiny box. This was an endeavor that Maxwell knew would take a while but he still needed to check that.

Days passed as he checked this and surprisingly the planet remained quiet. There were no Parademon attacks nor were there any form of interference from Darkseid.

It would seem that the battle between New Genesis and Apokalips was more important to Darkseid than he initially thought.

Knowing that he could never actually match Darkseid on a one on one basis…  at least not yet, but he didn't need to, he just needed to be a pest.

A great and powerful pest that would drain and anger him at all turns.

"Box, create the code for a semi-conscious intelligence such as yourself using the following rules" Maxwell said after his tests.

He wanted to see which programming was better, his or the Box's. If his was better then he was the best in the entire Omniverse.

If the Box beat him then he had nothing to lose, just to replace the programming after ensuring that it was okay.

*hum*

A barely audible hum was heard from the box as it generated a holographic screen before him and immediately, the lone lines of code began to appear.

Looking at it, Maxwell noticed a certain difference, the codes here were more like spells than instructions. The programming of a Motherbox wasn't done through actual coding.

It was a ritual, something he didn't take into account but thankfully, the box had helped him correct his mistake.

With the code generated, Maxwell simply created a separate server which he used to host the Semi-conscious intelligence.

He couldn't bring himself to fully trust the Father box yet. He may have tricked it into changing its allegiance but that was it.

It was only a trick, mother and father boxes dealt with the highest levels of power easily that such a trick should be below them.

[Good day sir, how may I be of help to you] The intelligence said as soon as it was activated

Immediately Maxwell began the tests that he could. It would be much easier testing the allegiance of this server hosted intelligence than the Father box itself.

Within minutes, he found a unique feature that he could take advantage of to take away all of his worries about the Fatherbox.

The New intelligence didn't have anyone inserted into its allegiance slot. Meaning that it had no master. Every other thing was up to the standard he had set

There were no hidden rules, even if it could have hidden that from the past him, it couldn't from the current him.

He may not look like it but he was now officially the smartest in the entire Multiverse. Such a title may not help much but it was a fact.

Apart from that, he had a brain that functioned at several millions of times faster than that of  even the most incredible human.

The Sage Force fed him ideas almost Infinitely, this brain granted processing that was beyond this universe. The code was Clean so Maxwell did the next best thing.

Yes, the new programming was far better than what he had created. Even if he hadn't accounted for the ritual part, it was still on par with the original creation.

He replaced the intelligence of the Fatherbox with the new code it had created. Without hesitation, he activated it.

The hum was heard again but as usual it was barely audible even to his enhanced senses.

As soon as the Box was activated, Maxwell saw the box emit a soft light as it began transforming in some weird way.

It remained a box but it's threatening black and red colors were replaced by a softer blue. Seeing this, a soft sigh of relief escaped his lips.
