A Waste of Time

There was something different about this hot chocolate. Maybe it was the way it was made. Maybe it was the vibe of the coffee shop…Maybe it was the beautiful dame who gazed at him without blinking. Sora couldn't tell.

"Does it still hurt?" He asked. Alice nodded.

"A bit." She whined. It never felt good to burn your tongue. Not a problem.

"...Come here."

His thumb caressed her cheek, a dim glow trailing behind. The broken doll couldn't help but close her eyes as Sora manipulated his love tap. The nerves in her tongue were soothed in record time. To the other customers in the establishment, the two Lockharts were just being romantic.

"Is that better?"

"Mnn." She hummed cutely.

"Then let's go. We only have one more stop for the day."

Alice huffed in annoyance. The mature beauty was tired. They had already visited several companies in the last few days. She just wanted to lay down in the hotel suite.

The duo made their way out of the shop and reached an empty parking lot. A silver car was parked nearby. It was another supercar, this one being an Aston Martin. Sora leaned on the hood and opened his arms. Alice casually stepped into his embrace.

"Do you already know what you're going to say?" Sora asked. The doll couldn't help but chuckle.

"Fufufu. I don't think I'll be saying much. Harrison Wells is the one who needs my support. Not the other way around."

"...Good. The day is almost over. Let's finish this fast."

His hands grasped her plump buttocks, playing with them. Alice had already brought his head into her soft cleavage. A slight hum of relaxation could be heard from both of them.

"I'm tired." She grumbled cutely. Her fingers were playing in his hair.

"Then let's hurry up." He suggested.

Without further ado, the two got in the car and drove off. It took almost thirty minutes of driving to reach their destination. A large sign could be found on the sidewalk.

'S.T.A.R. Labs.' It read.

The building resembled a massive dome. After walking past the sign and reaching the entrance, the doors slid open. They were automated and functioned via proximity.

Everything was high tech. From computers and holographic monitors to bars and graphs, this place truly was the ideal laboratory. Each door was made of glass and the white floor and walls were as smooth as marble. As the two Lockharts took in their surroundings, a young woman in a lab coat approached.

"Hello there, welcome to S.T.A.R. Labs. Can I help you with something?" She asked professionally.

She looked to be in a bad mood. A frustrated expression could be seen on her face. The brunette had long curly hair that matched her eyes. She seemed to be in her early 20s.

"Hello, we're here to see Harrison Wells." Sora responded. The woman immediately frowned as if that was the worst thing he could've said.

"Wells is currently busy. Have you made an appointment?" She asked skeptically. Alice frowned but didn't speak.

"We haven't made an appointment, but he knows we're coming. Can you let him know that we're here? I'd appreciate it." He continued. The lady raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry but if you haven't made a reservation, you cannot meet him. He's working on something important and won't have time to deal with you."

"...More important than us?" Sora finally said. He was growing tired of this rude girl.

"Um, yeah? Who even are you?" She mocked.

"I'm from the Lock-"

"I don't care who you are. I was being rhetorical!" She interrupted.

"Right…" He trailed off while rubbing his temples.

"Please leave. Come back when you have an appointment."

Alice huffed before storming out of the building. She hadn't said a word the entire time. Sora could feel a vein appearing on his forehead. Due to his height, he towered over the girl. A quick glance at her nametag told him her info.

"Caitlin, we don't know each other…but there's this thing called decorum. Manners. When you finally get your head out of your ass, tell Harrison that he's lost his funding. Tell him that we didn't know he treated guests this way." He growled before turning away.

"Hmph." Caitlin snorted before returning from whence she came.

When Sora reached the car, he found Alice standing beside the passenger door. A scowl adorned her cute face. No matter what expression the beautiful doll made, it was fascinating to watch.

BEEP

He pressed a button on the keys which unlocked the door. She immediately got inside and slammed the door shut. A wry smile appeared on the sleepy man's face.

'It's not our problem. They are the ones asking us for yearly funding. Too bad for them though. S.T.A.R. Labs will have to find another leg to hold onto.' He thought.

This company wasn't that important to the Lockhart Foundation. They had plenty of companies that they funded and in return got 30% of the profits. Sora got into the driver's seat and turned on the engine.

Alice was still pouting. She looked out the window with her arms crossed. It only made her breasts look bigger. He couldn't help but chuckle at how cute she was.

"Should we get something to eat?" He asked.

".........................."

There was no response. He reached over and grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him. Their lips met for a few seconds. The young Lochart smiled while looking into her purple eyes.

"Cheer up! I bet they'll be spamming your phone while we eat."

"Mnnnn." She hummed sweetly. Her lips arched into a tiny smile.

Sora finally put his hands on the wheel. As he drove out of the parking lot, he made a right turn onto the main street. Harrison Wells could be seen speeding out of the entrance and onto the sidewalk in his high tech wheelchair. Caitlin was running after him with a red face.

The windows to the car were tinted, so they couldn't see the Lockharts inside. They were on Alice's side of view. She was getting the full picture.

"Wait! Ms. Lockhart!" He yelled in panic. Sora ignored them and pressed the gas.

VROOOM

The car accelerated. Looking in the rearview mirror, he could see Harrison glaring at Caitlin with fury. Sora turned to Alice, only to find her grinning from ear to ear. Another chuckle escaped as they went to find something to eat.
