Clara's previously sinking heart suddenly revived. Seeing Jimmy's fingers move, she immediately smiled with relief. "Jimmy, your hand is getting better."
Although it was still painful, the arm that had been numb now had sensation again. A sense of rebirth surged within him. Jimmy looked happily at everyone, at those comrades who were injured like him!
"Jimmy! Don't move around." Clara quickly tore a piece of animal hide and tied it into a knot, putting it around Jimmy's neck to support his left arm.
Someone in the crowd immediately shouted, "Clara! Come help my mate, he can't move his leg."
Suddenly, more people called out for Clara's assistance, and she found herself busy attending to multiple injuries. She was the only one with some medical knowledge, and for them, Clara seemed to be their remedy.
