Chapter 9 - The Hardest Quest.

Four heroes and two girls can be seen standing in front of Joseph. two of the said heroes are covered in bruises suggesting that they tried to resist, and one is on the bed with no signs of waking. the girl with red hair is covered with some bandages but otherwise fine.

Joseph signals the doctor to give Motoyasu, Ren, and Itsuki some potion. There are only fifteen days before the wave comes.

Naofumi is with Raphtali, both of them are clearly startled when they see Joseph, Naofumi didn't expect that the guy who ate some of his fish in exchange for a potion is the new king.

Joseph who seems to know what Naofumi is thinking said jokingly said, "I know right?" while smiling.

Malty is wondering why she can't get angry at Joseph even though Joseph has overthrown his father and injured her.

Malty pouted and looked at Joseph faking her anger, but not saying anything, Joseph just smiled at her, and she blushed like a little girl then thought, 'What is happening to me?"

Ren and Itsuki are still thinking of revenge and how they will execute it, both of them are not idiots, they know that currently, they are nowhere powerful compare to Joseph.

"How are you, Naofumi?" Joseph asked out of the blue.

"I'm fine, Allblack-Sama," Naofumi respectfully replied.

Naofumi respect Joseph a lot even though they've only met once. The potion that Joseph gave him greatly help when Raphtalia and he battled the two-headed black dog in the coal pit.

"Allblack-Sama?" Ren, Itsuki, Malty, and even Elise who is beside Joseph asked at the same time.

Joseph doesn't know how to react, but he is considering to kill everyone in this room right now.

[DSS: *Quest: Kill everybody in the room in under twenty minutes!*

Reward: No one will know about your childish alias, Item: Portal Gun(A).

Penalty: you will be called Allblack by almost everyone.

Accept: (Y), (N).

Noted: Not Accepting will not be judged as a failure.]

'Ohh, that is surprisingly tempting but I'm gonna say no, I don't want to end my games here' Joseph thought.

Everybody is looking at Joseph silently and patiently waiting for him to reply. Everyone in this room got a feeling that they have just avoided a cruel faith.

Joseph smiled and looked at them, then replied, "Oh that's just my adventurer title back in my old days."

Elise raised her eyebrow but didn't say anything.

Everyone in this room doesn't have the guts to ask what the fuck is that title.

After a minute of silence, Motoyasu finally wakes up, when Motoyasu sees Joseph he points at him but Ren and Itsuki rush at him to cover his mouth.

"You're majesty, kindly give us some time to talk to our friend here," Ren politely requested, but Motoyasu escaped Ren and Itsuki grasp and shout at Joseph, "Why are you here! come here and I'll beat you up, Ren and Itsuki help me." Motoyasu demanded.

Joseph looked at Ren first, he just smiled at him, then at Motoyasu, and finally at Malty.

"Malty would you kill Motoyasu for me?" Joseph asked knowing that his skill is still in effect.

Malty staggered backward realizing now the kind of personality Joseph has. 'His personality is almost like mine," Malty though.

Joseph's smile faded when Malty didn't answer immediately, getting impatient he looked at Elise and ordered, "Elise drag them to the red room."

Elise thought, 'It's only five seconds, how much do you hate those two.'

Elise nods then quickly disappeared from her position, she reappeared in front of Motoyasu chopping his neck making him fall asleep.

Malty panicked and answered, "I will do it, your majesty, please don't..." the knights didn't let her finished and drag her away.

"Your majesty please don't, I will do anything, I'm sorry," Malty is still shouting while being drag by the knights, snot, and tears can be seen clearly on her face.

Joseph loves the look of Malty's face when begging to not be killed.

Naofumi and Raphtalia are shocked by the turn of events, they did not expect Joseph to be that cruel, but before they can talk Joseph already starts talking.

"Don't worry they will not die," Joseph said reassuring Naofumi, then thought, 'technically not for now.'

Joseph then looked at them seriously then said, "Well let us start, you might be questioning why I called you here."

The heroes nod and wait for Joseph to finish.

Joseph then continues, "The wave will come very soon, I want you three to train more and become stronger."

Joseph then nods three times and said, "What? Do you expect more? you all can go, I want to sleep."

The three of them are speechless, 'That's exactly what we are doing before you call us,' three of them thought but did not voice it out.

After the three heroes leave Joseph goes back into his room, but before he can sleep a mechanical sound ring in his head.

[DDS: Warning! The system detects no Dating points accumulation in these past days.]

[DDS: The system will now give a quest to resolve this problem.]

[DDS: *Quest: Date someone without using your Emotion Manipulation skill*

Success Condition: Make someone fall in love with you and invite her/him on a date.

Failure: The quest will be considered a failure after the wave is over and you still don't have a date.

Reward: kryptonite weakness will be removed.

Penalty: DDS Deactivation, Note: You will still keep your powers.]

"You son of a bitch, I'm in," Joseph said.
