"I can't…die…like this."
The scenery around me dimmed and I gradually lost my senses. I felt my whole world become dark.
Just like that, I died...

In the Melromarc kingdom, upon exiting the castle town through the south gate, fields of grass extended in every direction.
Inside the castle town, there was, at least, a cobblestone road meandering over the scenery, but once we left there, it seemed like the world was nothing but green and green and green.
It struck anyone who is looking around as novel and fascinating. There could be seen both the expanse of the sky and the horizon itself.
Round ball-like creatures are bouncing around in giddy excitement.
This land is filled with weak monsters and battling them should make for very good practice for newbie adventurers.
In that place, a little boy about five to six years old, holding a dagger that's coated with 'blood clean' magic, in his right arm. Due to his small figure, that dagger seemed like a short sword. That boy has pitch-black hair which is rarely seen around, dark brown eyes, and slightly tanned skin.
He wore a worn-out custom-made chainmail armor on his body.
He vigilantly poked around in the fields for a little while before spotting something in the grass. It looked like an orange balloon.
"Gah!"
It let out an angry cry and flashed aggressive eyes at him, confirming its enemy status. And so a creature sort of like those balloons that were put in the fields to scare away the birds rushed to attack him.
Despite he was about to be attacked by that strange monster, the boy looked so calm and composed. He held his dagger in his right hand and made a hit on the beast with the dagger's sharp edge in the middle of the air. With *buff* sound balloon monster died in a single hit. It's skin which is similar to balloon drops after it's dead.
He heard a beep sound in his head and saw that his experience meter now increased by one point.
"Gah!!"
Another Orange balloon monster emerged from a nearby push towards his blind spot.
Once again, without flustered, he hit that monster with his knee.… *BOING* Monster bounced
back. That thing sure was resilient enough to withstand that powerful hit.
"Gaaah"
The Orange Balloon reared back, bared its fangs, and came at him again.
*Buff*
This time he pierced that monster with the tip of his dagger before it could attack.
Without picking another drop item, he moved towards a lot of nearby Orange balloon monsters that came at him with their bared fangs. That boy smirked at those monsters as he charged forward. He killed a lot of Orange Balloons within a few moments, but he showed no sign of stopping. He continued to kill them like a madman.
His movements were so fluent, like water flowing in the river which is beyond the capability of someone on his age. He is slaughtering those balloon monsters with cold eyes.
Two and half an hour later…
*Buff*
With a soft puff of air, another Orange Balloon has been popped.
"Huff… huff… huff…"
Finally, he started to pant heavily as he exhausted all of his stamina. The sound of persistent mechanical sound stopped.
He focused on the soft edges of his field of vision, there were little marks there. He focused his mind on that icon.
With a soft beep, just like from the computer heard as the icon expanded to take over his field of vision. It was like opening an Internet browser.

There is a lot of information shown on the screen, but he ignores everything except the EXP bar.
"More than half left huh?... I can't help but still amazed at how normal everyone seemed to think 'Status Magic' was, and this numerical expression of our physical body."
"It's been a year since I started to kill these monsters, I only leveled up two times.... *sigh* Leveling up seemed so easy in anime, but in reality... tsk. It's so hard to level up..."
It's almost been six years since Vishwa was reincarnated as Morsan into this world.
He lost his mother when he was born. His father was the only family he had, he was an adventurer just like Morsan's grandfather.
He felt so happy when he found, that he had reincarnated into the world, The rising of the shield hero. He learned a lot of interesting things about this world from a very young age. But all of his happiness has shattered now.
Last year, his father was killed by fellow adventurers for his rare drop item which would sell for a very high price.
Since those adventurers were blacklisted as wanted by Adventurer's guild and the kingdom, they fled away to a neighboring country with their money.
Morsan, couldn't find any useful information except their face.
He swore he would kill every fucking one of them as brutally as possible in his heart.
Due to the heavy tax that was imposed on people by the Melromarc Kingdom cause of the ongoing war against the Siltvelt Kingdom, he couldn't pay taxes for his home. So, his house which his father left behind for him had been sold off for a measly sum of money.
Now, hunting these low-level monsters was his only source of income for paying fees for his stay in the inn.
Fortunately, he earned decent some money as he got so used to hunting low-level monsters in this area.
He gathered all of those Yellow Balloon drop items he ignored in his sack bag that he bought with him.
"...70.... 72.... 76!!.. this is a new record!! now it's time to hunt some rabbits.."
