Upon waking up in Japan's Edo period, Aoto is confused about the sudden appearance of a knife in his hand. But understands his situation as soon as he gains knowledge about the gift he received, the Essence of the Knife. A knife to rule them all and a knife which will follow Aoto through his new life towards greatness.
(Asahi POV)
It was over. The world is now rid of Muzan and his spawn. I suppose it is still possible to have another Muzan if things repeat themselves, but I doubt it. I have put an end to the problem this world has and am now ready to move on. I am certain that Ubuyashiki Kagaya knew about me being special and his ability to see the future in some way certainly helped. He will know that humanity has won and will tell the others about it. I look around the Infinity Castle and smile. This is such a broken ability honestly. I'm glad I acquired it.
I walk forward to the pair of gold-plated Japanese war fans lying on the ground. Douma's war fans. The fans are golden in colour, with several patterns resembling lotuses engraved on the side, complete with a green tassel. They are extremely sharp and suited for his style of combat, able to slice and slash as well as use swords and generate huge gusts of air. They are also shown to be extremely durable, withstanding multiple sword slashes and attacks without breaking.

I pick them up and bring them close to my wakizashi. I focus and then activate my essence, causing the two war fans to sink into the wakizashi. Abilities and forms can be unlocked by allowing the Knife to absorb materials and now I 'feed' it the two war fans, adding it to my 'knife'. So I have three forms right now. The amazing aspect of my 'knife' or Essence, is that despite it taking the form of a wakizashi, it has the abilities of every material or ability combined. I will the Wakizashi to change into the two war fans.
After a moment, the form changes and I hold two Japanese war fans in my hand. I like the golden colour, actually, despite it being the same one Douma used, so I won't change it. This serves as a reminder of what I accomplished and I can change it any time I want in the future.
I change it back to my wakizashi and then do something I have been planning for a while now. I imagine myself in this reality. The Essence of the Knife grants me the ability to cut through anything I want. And so, I wish to cut through the barrier that separates me from the next world I want to go to. This takes time since I really have to visualise my wish. I close my eyes and imagine the boundary of this reality and the other one. With a very slow movement, I cut through the boundary...
...
*WHOOOOOSH ... POP*
.
.
"Gasp ..."
I open my eyes and breathe in the air around me. This is hard to believe that moving from one reality to another would feel this way. I am starting to think that Harry Potter was wrong when it described Apparition. It didn't feel like I was pressed through a tube, but like jumping thousands of meters into the air. The air feels thin and different and my heart races making my blood pressure shoot through the roof. This might be the new reality affecting me, and me adapting to the phenomenon. The different rules or laws of this reality ... I can feel it ... they are affecting me ... trying to force me out or eliminate me.
I change my wakizashi back into a knife and quickly cut myself. I cut the laws which hold me back and differentiate me from the ones present here.
*Swing*
"Haaa ..."
I take a deep breath and feel the changes happen. I feel myself adapting to the laws present in this reality as the boundary separating the ones here from the ones in the Kimetsu no yaiba universe was just cut. It feels as if the shackles which were binding me or trying to bind me were broken and I am set free.
"Ahh... what a feeling."
I feel free right now. For the first time, I looked around the place where I had landed. It seems much more modern than Japan of 1904 which was the time I left the last reality. If I had to guess, I'd say ...
... ah, 2006. Yes, the billboard says it all. Quite a good time to arrive here in Japan. I wonder if everything has already happened or ... I better go and check. I started walking, looking at some signs to understand where I had arrived and if it was the one I wanted. After a short few minutes, I saw the confirmation I was looking for. Tokyo. I arrived in Tokyo, which I wanted to do in the first place. So if I am in Tokyo in 2006 ... I have to see whether I'm in the right Tokyo.
I walked through the city of Tokyo, and I have realised and have to say that it's impressive to see decades of change done in a few seconds. Thankfully I can speak Japanese and have no problem with asking my way through the city. It is strange to see so many people all at once after five years of travelling through the country, mostly at night. I have an important goal right now and after two hours of slow walking through a forest ... I make it.
The foothills of Mt. Mushiro
.
The entrance to Tokyo Jujutsu High is in the foothills of Mt. Mushiro. Deep in the forests, there is a long set of stairs accented by a line of repeating torii gates that lead beyond Master Tengen's barrier into the school grounds.
Tokyo Jujutsu High is a broad campus of several buildings built in a traditional Japanese architectural style, operating under the guise of a Buddhist temple. The school building is well hidden on Tokyo's outskirts, far and high in the mountains. Naturally, there are a lot of trees around the property to further obscure the location. Some elements other than the buildings reflect the Buddhist theme. There are several statues of deities, shrines, and torii gates around the campus.
As I arrive at the foothills of Mount Mushiro I stop and wait. I thought that I arrived just in time but it seems like-
Oh, there he is.
I turn around and feel the presence of someone rather strong arrive behind me. A tall, muscular man with mid-length straight black hair that reaches to his ears. His eyes are green and he has thin black eyebrows and a scar on the corner of his right lip. He wears a tight-fitting black shirt, sports tan baggy training pants with a black belt weaved through the waist and black martial arts slippers.
Toji Fushiguro
When he sees me he stops and raises an eyebrow. He seems confused that I am standing there and I can't fault him for such a reaction. After all ... he has never met another person without Cursed Energy. But while he has a Heavenly Restriction, I just don't have any ... yet.
"Who are you?" he asks me and subtly shifts into a battle stance.
Anyone who didn't know about fighting as much as I do would think he was casually standing there, but I'm different. I might have just been fighting for 'only' 5 years at this point, but it has been a constant fighting and training, where I honed my instincts and body ot the peak ... at least in the last reality. So naturally, I notice these things.
"My name is Asahi. I'm here for you."
"Oh? And why is that?" he asks with a smirk.
"You're the one who put the 30 million yen bounty on Riko Amanai, are you not?"
"So you know that? And what of it?" he asks starting to walk around me.
"See, you're a prick and a bad father. The deal you made will eventually kill you. Your plan was good, but not good enough ... Sorcerer Killer."
!!!
"Who are you?" he asks again, reaching to his Inventory Curse and grabbing the handle of the Katana which appears.
"I already told you. My name is Asahi and I'm here for you."
...
*BOOOM*
He shoots forward. His speed is remarkable, reaching higher than what the average Demon Slayers could accomplish, but that is if he would use his top speed. He isn't taking me seriously right now and that is his doom.
I can still see him move without a hint of a problem right now and watch as he appears with the regular Katana and slashes towards me. Instead of being worried, I grab my wakizashi's handle and unsheath it, blocking his attack.
*CLANG*
I see the surprise on his face as I do that.
"Oh? A Heavenly Restriction similar to mine? I never thought I'd see the day."
Unlike any other known case, Toji possesses no cursed energy. The reason for this is called a Heavenly Restriction which completely eliminated cursed energy from his body. The trade-off for Toji's complete lack of cursed energy is his immense physical prowess. While it has been noted that several people have had Heavenly Restrictions that bring their cursed energy to normal levels, Toji is the only case where it has erased the person's cursed energy completely. By eliminating all cursed energy, Toji's body became sharpened to a point where his five senses reached his pinnacle, and he could freely interact with curses.
I don't know what Toji's speed was in canon as there are some discrepancies, but I can tell that his speed right now is Mach 2 and from my experience in fighting, that is not even close to his limit. He can go faster and I'm all for it, otherwise, this would be terribly boring.
His strength is equal or even higher than mine, from what I can tell right now. I have reached the peak of human levels in all aspects, so it stands to reason that I might be above Yoriichi. Even so, I am not stronger than Toji right now. I haven't made use of the abilities I absorbed through the knife. That comes later and very soon too.
We disengage and he moves back. Using more strength and higher speeds, he slashes his Katana towards me again. I block his strike with one of my own, generating more velocity to deal with his higher strength. Only speed is invincible and I have that in spades ... well compared to Toji Fushiguro at least.
*Shing*
*Clang*
*Boom*
Faster and faster
Harder and harder
The fight gets more and more intense, as Toji pushes himself more and more and finally reaches his top speed to attack me from seemingly all sides. I can say that he has surpassed Mach 10 right now and we are just zooming across the landscape and through the forest. A big smile makes its way onto my face as I enjoy the fight. No supernatural abilities or anything fancy, just two dudes using swords and trying to kill each other. I might have changed from my past life ... only a bit.
I slash my wakizashi vertically, forcing Toji to move to the side or block it. Blocking takes time and strength though and would ruin the flow of the fight. He chooses to dodge, just like I would have done. My wakizashi slashes through the tree trunk that is behind him. He uses this window to attack, however, my attack never stopped, it just changed direction.
As if the tree was made of water, my blade changes direction and I shoot it upwards, just in time to hit his Katana before he cuts me in half.
*CLANG*
The tree starts to fall to the ground, right between us. Our clash pushes us apart for a few centimetres. Just enough to have the broken tree fall in between. I take my wakizashi with both hands and bring it up again, performing a wide swing for a wakizashi. Toji meanwhile does the same but from above.
Both our blades cut through the tree and our attacks are about to impact once more. Before our blades touch though, I increase my speed massively.
*SHWING*
Through the massive velocity of my attack, my blade cuts through his Katana like a hot knife through butter.
...
*Thud*
His left hand falls to the ground together with the rest of his left arm. I cut through his blade and two parts of his left arm, the wrist and the shoulder. The Sorcerer Killer looks at me with wide eyes, realising that he never stood a chance. That's not true entirely, but in terms of speed, I rank way above him.
"It was fun, while it lasted. Farewell, Toji Fushiguro."
*Shing*

Yes, that just happened. Please don't start arguing over whether this was possible or not. In terms of speed, the MC ranks above this Toji and while he was below him in defence and even strength, the speed difference is quite substantial to achieve this. Also, remember that his 'knife' can cut through everything.
