Hugo said after he had made sure Tim is not within the area to overhear what they will be talking about. Hugo settled at the guest chair and Darren was sitting at the swivel chair of the office.
It actually felt awkward to be sitting on the swivel chair when they both knew Hugo is the professional and well-achieved between them. Although if you consider Darren's success over the years, he may as well be as an achiever as the man in front of him who's leaning at the back of the chair with arms crossed and serious expression back on his face.
There's no remnant of the one who called him googoo and these changes of personalities are messing up his head. One moment his inner sluttishness is screaming to be let out and now, his guard's on the loose.
What other kind of Hugo is inside him? Darren's being nosy again.
