"Take some rest, I am going to speak with the doctor, and then we will be on our way."

While looking at Regina's face, Paul stood up to go to the doctor, but his hands were not ready to leave her not even for a second.

"I will be okay." Sensing her hesitance, she pulled her hand away, taking care of the difficult part for him.

He stood up and leaned over her. His mouth immediately moved to her forehead and he placed a kiss there. He had never done such a thing, but it somehow felt right with her as if he should have been doing it from the beginning.

After he left. Regina realized everything was hurting. Even days after her surgeries, she felt weak. Her body was not working the same way it used to. The strength she once felt in her muscles was absent. She was feeling so weak that right now if she had to defend herself, she would have no chance of doing it. She was that much broken.
