CHAPTER 311: GRADUATION 2

            BACK IN AFRICA

"Have you watched the news?" A lady who was sauntering closer to the man who looked dishevelled and depressed on the coach asked. But in turn, the man didn't even spare a look in her direction. Instead, he remained seated staring at nothing in particular.

"Samir! I am talking to you!" The lady who was non-other than Camila had to shout for the man's attention causing him to turn his upper body and gazed at his beautiful but skinny wife.

"What?" He looked uninterested as he gazed at the woman. His skinny face was full of worries and undescribed emotions.

"I have been talking to you Samir. Or are you still thinking about those twins? We are here to look for our daughter Jessica but your mind is somewhere else. It is all your fault. Your infidelity has caused all these problems! I don't know what to think anymore. Despite being rich, we are not able to find our daughter. What if she is no more? It has been five years now, yet nothing has been found out about her whereabouts! What if I have been wrong all along?" Camila was able to change the topic in a twinkle of an eye as he glared at the man who looked unbothered.

"You know what? It has been hard on my side too Camila. Yes, you are right about me being unfaithful. But you also were carrying Mark when I married you so you don't have to blame me at all. You make me want to kill myself by that. I am sorry to say thia but I already told you that I still... Juat forget about it. After all, you are lucky to raise your child by yourself what about my two young ladies? They don't even know if I exist!" Samir sighed as he covered his body as if in cold.

"Ma'am! You have a call!" A lady who was wearing maid's uniform came running to the duo while holding a phone in her hands.

"Is it the doctor that was supposed to come and treat the princes?" Camila asked while gazing at the Maid who appeared from nowhere.

"No! The person said...what..he.."

"What? If you don't know what to say, disappear from our presence right at this moment!" Samir roared making the maid bow while her hands were trembling a little.

"S-sorry, sir! The person said something about your stolen dau.."

"Give that to me!" Camila rushed to the maid as quickly as she could and snatched the phone from her leaving the maid flabbergasted.

By that time, Samir was already on his heels closer to his wife's ear.

"Hello! Do you know something about our stolen daughter?" Lady Camila went directly to the point without beating around the bush as sweat was already rolling down her forehead. It was like she was scared of what the response could be.

"Yes! I know!" The person on the other end sounded arrogant.

"Who is she? Where is she? How is she? Is she happy? Is she eating well? Is there someone who is taking care of her? Where is that woman who stole her from us?" The couple chorused to the person on the other end making the maid open her mouth wide in shock at her bosses' behaviours.

"Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha! And do you think I will just tell you about it without wanting anything in re.."

"Say it! How much?" Samir blurted out cutting the proud person from the other end.

"I want twenty million. Send the money with the account I have just texted you on your phone!" The man stated leisurely waiting for an answer from the duo.

"I am already sending you the money. I am ready to die poor but what I want right now is my daughter to be found at all cost, safe and sound. Tell us, where is she?" Samir stated as he took the phone from his wife probably wanting to check the message that the man had sent.

"I will only tell you after I have seen the message of the money!" The man stated without pressure at all.

"Right away!" Samir started putting his bank information on the phone as his wife was listening intentively to the person on the other end.

"What if he is like those men who lied to us last year and collected one billion from us for free, Samir?" Lady Camila murmured to her husband's ear.

"Okay, if you think I am a conman the.."

"No! No! Please tell us. I beg of you please. I have already sent the money!" Samir pleaded while gesturing for his wife not to say anything.

"Your daughter is now graduating in India. She has managed to be the first girl worldwide in medical studies and right now, people are preparing for graduation. If you want to see her and know who she is, don't waste this chance. I repeat, don't waste this chance because maybe you won't see her again!" With that, the phone ended.
