CHAPTER 117: AN ATTEMPT TO DIVORCE 1

The topic she was avoiding to talk about was being resurrected.

"There is no need for that now love. Let us wait for the cops and help the guards with the lifeless body then we will visit your dad next weekend when all of you are free again, okay?" She started making all the girls nod their heads in disappointment.

Diana ruffled their long wave hair, both at the same time to lighten their moods as she smiled at them.

"Okay, mum!" Lisa finally gave up and smiled back at her mum.

In a jiffy, they heard the police car coming guessing by the sound and all of them walked towards the road.

"Hey! Where is it?" A cop called out to one of the guards who was running in their direction.

Diana and her daughters stood under a tree while watching the whole process. The men after talking to the cops, a doctor and medical officers were called and without wasting time, they arrived at the scene and collected the body to the mortuary.

But before that, Diana made sure that the body would be investigated and check-up to determine the killer's fingerprints at least after they would not find the girl's parents, they would lay her to rest in peace and start to look for the culprits.

After all, was done, it was already the early hours of the evening.

Diana and her daughters took off immediately because the girls needed to rest so that they could take off for the school trip the following morning.

***********************

Sandra sat on the bench outside her house with a gloomy face.

She was angry with all that was going on but she couldn't vent her anger on anybody, especially not her husband because she had seen the man fight tooth and nail to find their dearest daughter but all his efforts were futile.

The woman was blaming herself no matter how many times her husband tried to tell her that all of that was bound to happen and where their daughter was, he believed she was safe and sound and that he would do anything in his power to find her as long as they were still alive and breathing but that was the problem, they were poor and had nothing, who would listen to them?

Even the cops couldn't.

Sandra could revive what happened at the station that day.

They couldn't believe their eyes and ears at all.

Her husband's friend was not who they thought he was.

The man was a liar and a blackmailer.

She remembered how he paid the cops in advance so that he would be the lead during the discussion.

The policemen agreed with him that her husband and herself should work together with him to find the girl even though Richard stated that he was the course of their Blessing's disappearance but nobody was ready to help and hear them out.

Later on, they learn that Peter had bribed the police into hearing him than the victims themselves.
