Chapter 70 It's late now I am married

Katherine and Sirius walked out of their room. Katherine walked in the front while Sirius behind her as they descended the stairs. Her eyes caught a man seated comfortably on the cushion Couch. They walked to where the man was sitting, and they sat opposite him.

" Do you have to keep me waiting for this long just to see your wife, she is really a beauty" McPherson said he stood and walked to stand in front of her making her wary. The man bent to kiss the back of her hand which was done as a greeting among the elites. Anyway she was glad she had Sirius gloves on.

" Welcome to the family miss.... " He squinted his other eye as if trying to remember.

" I am Katherine Donovan " She said taking back her hand to her side.

" Katherine Donovan, I am George Mcpherson" He said walking back to sit on his seat.

" She must be so special that you have finally settled down Sirius " McPherson said. The man hair was all curly and short. He was a little sad Sirius didn't marry his daughter.

" I have been searching for her my only daughter and still no trace of her. " Mr McPherson said sadly.

" And you aren't sure she has not been devoured by one of the beasts in town " Sirius said lacking no compassion for the man who was one of the man causing chaosity in the town. He knew very well where his daughter is, just in his dungeon.

" I know I will find her " McPherson reprimanded.

" McPherson what do you know about the soul eaters" Sirius intentionally asked to have the man fidget who somehow was working in the back against the town. He was surprised he haven't had him in his custody by now.

" I what do you mean by that question are you trying to insunate that I have a hand-" Sirius interrupted the man.

" You insunated it McPherson I would like to have a talk with you, its been long we had business I thought you possibly died or got feasted on. " Sirius said casually, Katherine have to look at him to see any humor but they weren't. Was he being sarcastic he was possibly scaring the poor man. He stood up turning to her. " Katherine I will be leaving now take care and don't go to far from the house it's dangerous out there. " he said and Katherine stood nodding her head. She waited for him to leave but he stood there.

" So? " he tilted his head.

" I won't be going far from-" She said.

" Not that " he reprimanded. Katherine wondered what she was supposed to say. A thought struck her mind, could it be it.

" Have a nice day " she hugged him. and Sirius hugged her back.

Mr. McPherson couldn't believe the Pda ( public display affection). He didn't know him for that.

Sirius left with the man and Katherine went back upstairs. She busied herself in reading some books from the shelf not like she wasn't worried after just being reminded of the soul eater scratch on her neck. The scratch wasn't there anymore which must be why Sirius didn't see it.

" Knock! Knock!" She heard the rap in the door making her walk to open it.

" Milady someone came to visit you" A servant said. She wondered who it must be, either one of the elite or oh her sister. It was her sister seeing the maid not add a title to the person. Katherine descended upstairs running meters while the servant made sure to catch up with her so she could show her the person.

" Here is him milady " The maid said with a slight bow. The man who had their back facing them turned.

" Aaron? " She uttered, the stars in her eyes diminishing.

Aaron started to walk to her, his steps were slow and picky, rhyming with his brown ironed pants. His hazel eyes were dreamy, bright from the afternoon rays which peeked from the curtains. His curly brown hair were more lighter meeting a blond hair.

" Katherine " her name escaped his mouth when he had walked to stand in front of her. The feeling of ecstasy and enthusiasm caught up with him that he moved closer to hug her but the woman staggered back as if she lost her footing. " I think I did missed you way too much." he moved his hands to engulf the woman he do waited for in his embrace . The love of his life but yet again she staggered back, blinking away as if she couldn't look him in the eyes. His heart sank in at her action. That must be because of his absence and not reciprocating to her letters. When he wanted to say something his eyes caught her dress, silk and lovely to her body. They weren't peasants clothes but for the elites.

" Uhm I know I haven't been able to come see you " his eyes moved to hover around her. " is there some occasion going on?" He looked back at her.

" Aaron why are you here? " Katherine asked with heart prick. Her green eyes were sure couldn't meet his. She felt a tingle of all time but now in her neck, her fingers moved to relieve it.

" To see you of course I couldn't come see you at your invitation I was very busy but I will explain " He took her right hand in his warm hand and led her not to the big couch but to a smaller seat at the side. She sat opposite him leaving her hands placed on top her laps.

" You look beautiful Katherine, your dress" he pointed out it he couldn't imagine how much it was cost. He smiled sheepishly at her.

" Thank you Aaron, I don't know why you didn't come to see me even with my two letters but it's really not a problem-" He cut off her words.

" And who said that Kat I was extremely busy those days I really just made out time now" he explained. " I got a new work I got to open a shop as a cloth seller and it's been working good for me, every single day I got a heap of customers and I have always wanted that. " he said his face stern.

" Really? is that it? " Katherine questioned unbelievably at him. She was really angry right now. She was all alone struggling with her feelings and wanted to confess to him then but what was the point. " And what's the point of coming now, leave Aaron! " She stood up pointing at the big door to the Way out.

" What? I did it for you Kat-" He gently stood up, he put her hand down. " Yes! I have always wanted to get a good job to be able to take care of you, so that when we live together we will comfortably, so that we can be able to have that family I know you wish for..." his voice trailed at the end as he drew closer.

" Wh.. Wha..What do you mean A.. aron" her voice cracked at the end. She shook her head while waving her hand as if in refusal at him. She was not going to have a family with him anymore, but he didn't say he loved her.

" Isnt it obvious Katherine how I cherish and love you " he held her by both sides of her face.

" You do? " she asked.

" I do my love and I have always. " he looked into her eyes. " I know you do too?" his eyes fell on her plump pink lips.

" I i- " What!! she was married! oh goodness she was married to to the Lord now! she quickly pushed him away with the thought. " It's late now I AM MARRIED " she said.

He chuckled at her childish behavior. " Just say it you love me I know you do. " he took her gloved hand and kissed them.
